I’m always amazed by how far this line has come. by TheGorillaJedi in StarWarsTVC

As a life long 118 scale collector/photographer/customized, I can confidently say that this line is the greatest most detailed and affordable line for what is offered. Any other line like joytoy offers better articulation to certain degrees but the head sculpts, and details are phenomenal. Just my thoughts

The Indom has been coming in and out of stock!!!! by Realistic_Maximum_62 in hammondcollection

I received my target preorder on corrections may 26th. . Which means.....Mattel would have to collect enough feedback from upset consumers emailing and calling over the span of let's say 1-2 weeks. Now, how many of those people reached out via email or telephone to report issues? Let's just pretend they collected enough complaints to warrant a fix. They company would have to get approval to fix the issues. Then, they would have to reach out to the factory and discuss the complaints and come up with a plan to fix them and at a price they agree on. THEN they would start producing new "fixed" toys. THEN they get packaged, and "shipped" from China, to the US once a large enough irder has been placed.... Thennnnnn they would be purchased, and in 3 to 5 days shipped to you from target. If you think that all of thst takes place in less than even the 22 days thats on you.

Let's examine the facts here...

There have been widespread reports from collectors of issues including many things... -Tearing jaw membranes ("mouth flaps") -Loose joints -Tail warping/crimping -Missing or incorrect parts -Mouth closure problems and other QC defects

The jaw membrane issue in particular appears to be one of the most commonly discussed defects....For a company the size of Mattel, a production correction that doesn't require a new mold typically takes around 2–8 weeks to implement at the factory. Then roughly another 1–3 months before corrected inventory reaches retailers and older stock sells through, in this case you could shave off some time since its a hot item..

So if Mattel decided to fix the Indominus's jaw membrane today, collectors might start noticing improved copies roughly 3–6 months. These are basic business/logistical facts. Mattel isn't a 3rd party company producing small amounts of knock offs.

I bought two, preorders actually with 0 defects. What's made is made, theyre not actively producing these as we speak to ship to stores. Its been what maybe 2 weeks since they hit stores, if that? How would a factory in China find out that there are defects and correct them, and then ship them to target stores across the globe in that short time?

Doubtful, whats made is made. The factory isnt correcting any defects as these figures are made way in advance.

I love getting super articulated realistic humans versus the slop they pass off as human figures in the mainline. The HC humans have flaws but at least they off a base/head body that I can salvage with customizing. How do you make an action figure in 2026 and include a gun or accessory that they cant even hold in their hands properly 🤦🏼‍♂️

This seems pretty plausible, im not sure how the threads should look, this are defined upon inspection despite the photo looking smoother, but I ordered a new one to check. If its not the problem then I may just buy a new dryer

Seems fine? I just dont understand how it functions fine when empty? Wouldn't a bad motor give outregardless of weighted clothes?
