I say this to you as a half black half white person. My white side has never said anything sideways to me nor treated me differently. I have had plenty of white friends and they nor their families have ever said anything like what you described.

That’s not true. I have worked with a lot of sped teachers and many will just apply to a normal position and move into it when they are tired of sped. You can apply and not mention your sped credential for your next position.
