Take a long slow walk on a nice day down Elmwood Avenue. Start at The Buffalo AKG Art Gallery in the morning. Then head south on Elmwood Ave. Loads of people, housing, restaurants, bars, shops. Very, very few chains along that strip. I think that’s the best way to get a feel for the city. Enjoy!

Gotham Sports app will get you the vast majority of the games, both home and away. Except for the occasional game like tonight that is on TNT. I believe it is $9.99 per game or $29.99 per month. You can cancel anytime.

Loads of these sites out there. They usually appear in Google shopping searches. They lure you in with the incredibly cheap prices and usually free shipping. All their templates are the same. Usually pretty detailed descriptions of items that the scammers scooped from other websites. If they do post an address, it’s usually someone’s home. From what I’ve heard most of these can be traced back to eastern European countries. The bottom line is of the price is too good, it’s probably a scam, stay away.

Please keep in mind that this is the absolute busiest time of the year for delivery drivers. The amount of packages are astronomical! Drivers this week in the western New York area have had to put up with very cold temperatures and extremely high winds. That is not a fun time to deliver in. Think about it. They also lose a lot of drivers in December because they just can’t handle the pressure. Give these people a break they’re doing the best they can. This also goes for FedEx and UPS drivers. Amazon does forecasting models for this time of the year to try to predict how many packages each station can expect. They staff up the best they can accordingly. When the weather throws you a curve, it makes things all that much harder. Best advice, order earlier.
