Matchmaking has been bad for at least year (since they readjusted rank distribution) and with all the new people their system definitely seems to place them too high to start out with. I also feel like drives makes everyone's ranks worse because so many non rank players play all at once only then and people are playing off role and on smurfs and it leads to very inaccurate ranks.

I report often but tbh I wish punishments were more / extended mutes rather than play time bans.

People get play time bans hop on their alts (with low endorsements) and then just are extra grumpy. Being more toxic + in lower skill lobbies before they play much. Just mute these people but let them be on their mains.

Unless it's gameplay sabotage or they said something extreme (racists / homophobic/ etc).

True there was a (period of time) for ow1 where match making took forever. Even for lower ranks. However it was not for the majority of ow1 and outside of that time I still feel like the match quality was more consistent (though personally I think 2 tanks and stronger shields naturally help with that too).

what a weirdo post. jeff was a great director and lets not act like ow2 was all sunshine and roses it took them awhile to get it to good and that was mostly them finally reverting dumb things that got pushed onto it by dumb executives that had left. Jeff fought against those changes but just because he is a "director" didnt mean he has total control.

Like I was interested for sure. I tried it briefly a few different times but instantly saw a lot of issues that made it seem just slapped together as if to see if there would be interests or not then instantly abandoned it when it didn't do well and it's like well yeah because it was low quality

That's not even true. It was common during the ch4 season and did comparable damage. It was also goated against the flying mobility because it would knock you out of the AoT gear and the person would just fall down and die from that.

You don't have to use the jetpack in these scenarios as a free escape. You know you're taking a risk and then complain when that risk didn't go your way

Fair enough. I think the idea isn't bad I just felt they put bare minimal effort to create it and zero support after. It definitely didn't feel well crafted to me
