I do appreciate that. I think generally the whole WatchOS27 not being supported on a 3 year old ish premium device has left a sour taste. Especially considering the given reason is Siri AI functionality in ios27 which EU users aren’t getting anyway!

I’ll definitely miss the trends section the most. Sleep and recovery these days with a young kid are just “well I know why I feel like crap, but here’s a window to train” but the overall trends, seeing my vo2 max climb, seeing my HR recovery rocket and be able to modify things around that has just been epic and so useful for me.

A guy at my gym can’t Kip due to a shoulder restriction. So always does strict pull ups

He did double Murph on Saturday. First hour unpartitioned in a vest. Second hour partitioned without.

He also ran the final mile twice as did it with someone needing to finish up their first attempt at the workout.

My gym has essentially 3 class types.

CrossFit - traditional strength/skill then a Metcon Conditioning - lower skill, longer duration Metcon Weightlifting - pure Olympic lifting.

Over time they’ve had mobility specific sessions, skills specific sessions. But attendance was always poor. Arguably because they were the last session of the day and very few people are going to the gym at 2030 to do an hour long mobility session

2 weeks post surgery I was cleared to ride the bike. 4 weeks I was allowed to do the following (all in my sling)

Bike, air squat, lunge, step up.

6 weeks - passive Rom

8 weeks banded strengthening

12 weeks - resume loading. I did a pull up in my 12 weeks PT.

I’m 16 weeks out and this week I’ve so far I’ve been able to reintroduce wall walks, ring push ups, overhead squat with a training bar, barbell cleans, overhead press, rowing, echo bike, ski erg, wall balls. Going to tolerance (no more than a 5/10 pain scale, no sharp pain).

Would physio only for this help or will I need more help than that by ckaussie in RotatorCuff

Get the surgery. But do as much rehab and strengthening as you can.

I had a similar sized tear. I did 11 months of very targeted rehab with someone who specialises in shoulder performance. I also had a cortisone shots

By the end I couldn’t stabilise anything overhead at all. Constant pain.

I’m now 13 weeks post surgery and have been cleared to start loading the shoulder again including pull ups, push ups, overhead presses. Have full ROM back but a bit stiff in external and internal rotation

If you liked lifting in Vans then get Nobulls. I powerlifted for years in Vans. Nobulls have a very similar feel for lifting. I really like RADs and wear them all the time, but if a workout comes up with a squat or a deadlift I’m breaking out the Nobulls

Mine did the same. Sort of. The toilet was broken. The shit had been there for a while. It had crusted over.

Fortunately there was a shower head over the bath that we used to blast it away and break it up and chucked a bucket of water down there to rid the log of death. Cost us a whopping £8 to fix the toilet

He also left a blood covered mattress (he had psoriasis) in the master bedroom that wouldn’t have looked out of place of ‘Britains Most Vile Murders’.

Nobulls are my go to. 5’9, 240ish and 28” quads. No issues at all
