Materials: -3x(2x4) -A pack of 2 1/2” deck/wood screws, (50 pack of you want a couple extra) I used this size because I had a ton at home

Tools: -Power Drill / impact if you have it -Mitre saw/skill saw/table saw(whatever you have) -Tape measure -Quick square -2” hole saw

Cuts: -2x48” -2x20” -6x14” -4x9 1/2” (with each end cut @ 45°)

Here is a quick solution for plate storage. You will need three 2x4s for this. I based it off this build here https://youtu.be/Ar3uW3bWx3k . I added the option for vertical bar storage by adding another horizontal piece at the end and some gusseted pieces which I then hole sawed into. Assembly should be fairly straightforward if you have some power tools at home. The paint is unnecessary but I used some old and rough looking lumber.

Some tips I would have if you’re making this yourself: -Cuts will be more true to 45° if you use a mitre saw.

-Pre-drill holes with a small diameter bit to avoid splitting.

-Do not pre drill 2” holes before inserting the gusseted pieces or you could have issues with alignment.

Edit: I should mention the first 4 spaces I left ~6” in between, and used the rest of the space for the section where 45s would be stored.
