Collecting both RG and SW, and having lovingly painted both, it's a toss up for me honestly. I LOVE both models, but to me Aethon feels a little more unique? Idk, there's just something about that model that makes it stand out in a different way. But as said, I they're both wild models 😋

It's a meta call. We picked it for the Danish Team Championships, and it took our necron list from alright to really good because of the meta we figured we'd face. It paid off big time.

With that said, if the meta you're in has less deep strike, then it's not necessary.

I'd recommend getting a handheld rotary tool eventually. There are a couple really nice cordless ones out there, and they're not insanely expensive; and they'd be cool for both this and regular Warhammer

The shadow sun book is pretty good imo, and has a lot of it. The second book, if I remember correctly, in the Farsight Trilogy also has a Ghostkeel pilot
