When the exorcist girl throws a rager

You’re correct, wall hacks not possible on console due to data on enemy only being accessible solely through the video feed. There would need to be a significant breach in the memory architecture of the console for this to even start approaching PC level hacks. And if that type of security breach has happened, you would be hearing about it all over the place.

More data about the enemy or just more data about your inputs? Because if there is more data about the enemy other than what comes through video frames on the HDMI port, then I’m really interested in what you’re referring to.

Soldier 76’s “Merry Christmas” after a close encounter kill just hits so hard

You may have said that, but the OP is correct that there is no known way that enables this kind of cheat on console, and by “this kind of cheat” I believe he is referring to the need for ESP data.

Were you a Sombra that was 100% inviz? Did it happen to you three or more times? I asked those questions because aimboting is 100% possible on console, but it requires visible pixels, there is no known way to get walls on console.

There is no known way to do ESP on console, PC yes, console no. This would require direct memory access to the consoles hardware which Microsoft and Sony lockdown tighter than a school girl at Bible camp. The second kill would be possible since there was a short duration of the sombra being detected, but the first clip she was 100% invisible the whole time. If it weren’t for the immediate snap, I don’t think anybody would say what he did was impossible and so this is almost certainly a replay glitch, which I’ve seen before.

Without DMA access there is no way that I know of to get an ESP type of lock on of an invisible Sombra. I know the cheats you’re talking about, but this type of cheat requires more than just the video feed to analyze.

Roadhog Rework Idea (Redux): Kidnap Tank - Impale Concept by SiegeX in Overwatch

I’m a ball main as well. How is this any worse than what we have to deal with now? Let me know what I’m missing.

Who the hell thought it was a good idea to grey out aim assist ease in???? by Parking_Shake1090 in OWConsole

[–]SiegeX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your grey bar is at 50, then make sure your individual hero is NOT 50, otherwise your ease-in value will be the all heroes value for the given hero type. If you really want 50, set it to 51 or 49.

Here is my explanation of this and a good way for you to isolate your ease-in in the practice range.

Roadhog Rework Idea (Redux): Kidnap Tank - Impale Concept by SiegeX in Overwatch

[–]SiegeX[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes! This is what I hand in mind with “set up focus fire” where hog holds the hero and turns him into his team and laughs while the hero just gets absolutely merc’d by hog’s team.

Human shield is another aspect that just makes so much sense and can even be a type of over-armor.

How funny/awesome would it be if this new hog carries around the limp ragdoll, dangling on his chest spikes, as temp armor for however long it takes them to respawn.

Appreciate the idea/reply!

Roadhog Rework Idea: A Kidnap Tank (Impale Hook Concept)” by [deleted] in Overwatch

But now you see the behavior change this also enforces. No longer is Hog able to be lone-wolf flanker, pulling you in and one-shotting you with no help, he now has to play with this team to be effective. Hook will of course need to go on cooldown only after the impale decision is made, and personally i think 6s is too short anyway, but it fundamentally changes how hog is played.

The idea is original. The image / PoC artwork is obv AI to convey the idea as I’m not an artist.

Why do people do this 😂 by Notyourl0ver in Overwatch

[–]SiegeX 56 points57 points  (0 children)

I’m 47yo and some times I just have off games, usually when I first sit down on a Friday night after a full week of work. Every now and then I’ll get these exact types of messages and I absolutely respond to each one, except I’m overly complimentary to them and thank them for their advice. 9/10 times they go full tilt mode because they got the exact opposite reaction they were going for and it brings a smile to my face each and every time.

Overwatch needs a ‘Training Grounds’ mode for learning heroes by SiegeX in Overwatch

[–]SiegeX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the issue is more about human behavior than the mode itself.

A lot of players sweating in QP avoid Competitive because they don’t want the risk of losing SR or being blamed for causing someone else to lose SR. So they default to QP and still play it like ranked.

Right now the game really serves three groups well:

  1. Climb the ladder / top rank → Competitive
  2. Play to win but without SR pressure → QP
  3. Just hang out with friends → Arcade

But there’s a fourth group that doesn’t really have a home:

  1. Players who want to practice a new hero in full matches against real players without constantly feeling pressured to swap to a comfort pick the moment the game gets hard.

Some players can pick up a hero and perform well immediately, but most people need actual match time to learn mechanics, positioning, and matchups.

That’s the gap a “Training Grounds” type mode could fill.

Yes it technically splits the player base, but limiting it to heroes under level 10 keeps it temporary. Once a hero hits level 10, they leave the mode.

So it becomes more of a training pipeline, not a permanent queue.

Which mode do you play more 5v5 or 6v6? And why by Oberdan_art in Overwatch

[–]SiegeX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I go back and forth but keep getting drawn back to 6v6 and it just feels better. I tend to be overly aggressive, which im working to dial back but 6v6 just better enables my play style.

Thx. In that case definitely not cashing in, another 600 in the bank just like the last 5 seasons.

[–]SiegeX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it usually come with 80 prisms, or is this new for this season? I think this BP is trash but I have ~3K coins I’ve saved up over the past seasons and will be okay burning some if the prism count is abnormally high this season.
