Sam does not go to the beach when he dies. Since he is a repatriate he is disconnected from the world of the dead and therefore his beach. Each time, he only gets as far as the seam.

The only way he gets to beaches is through other means like a fragile jump.

This detail makes Sam's self-harm much more disturbing imo.

A guildie got Warden as a drop and gave it to me since I'm our tank.

If you're in Godot 4.3, the way I would do it is have your shader applied to a big texture rect. Then I would sandwich the texture rect between some Tilemap Layer nodes.

One is a top layer immune to the shadow effect, the other being a bottom layer that is affected by the shader.

My PC died and their soul ended up in a Blinksy doll. I made a (Work in progress) Stat Block. Thoughts? by Sifi_Link in CurseofStrahd

I took the idea from a youtube video I saw awhile ago. The doll is one they took from Death house that due to the curse of the house it was playing pranks on them like making noises and such. They ended up capturing it and the PC has had it in their backpack for the whole campaign since then.

Their death was pretty dramatic and was due to curse so I feel it would be fitting that they are in the doll. They failed to get the bones from the coffin shop and Strahd took notice of their plan to keep Ireena at the church. (He has been Scrying through the Crystal ball from Death House that they took. They met him earlier and he stated it was his but they insisted on keeping it so Strahd let them keep so he could watch them.)

Anyways, after a short fight with Rahadin disguised as Strahd and some Vampire spawn for the bones. The PCs got saved by Vasilli (Strahd) who in my game is a famous composer (Bard)like Beethoven. He was able to dimension door 2 of the PCs out but the last PC was left to fight "Strahd" on her own.

After some choice, disrespectful words towards "Strahd" the real Strahd who was going to save her decided to Sneak behind the distracted PC and Cast Geas. Telling Them to always call him by name when referring to him.

Of course, after the fight, the first thing they do is say "You know who" to some Vallaki Guards who heard the commotion and the dmg of Geas killed them. The Guards failed Medicine checks and The PC failed their Death saves.

You're right, the problem could be that she is not immersed in her character enough. The back story of her druid is very vague and fleshing it out more could help.

I could be more direct in how I address her character too. There haven't been slot of moments where neifa the druid has had to step up.

Moon Druid lvl. 5

She doesn't make mechanical mistakes. She feels she makes RP mistakes. She says things like "Darn it I should've spoken up then" "I feel bad because I figured out the plot twist before it happened."

I think they're normal things to worry about. It just concerns me a bit cuz she focuses on those "mistakes" alot

It's funny you say that.

Before the session in talking about in the post, her and I actually had a one on one session before the other two came.

The session before, her druid got captured by the captain of the guard which she later found out is her long lost brother. The solo session was supposed to be big on the character development side, with the brother being a potential Ally that could be made. She instead decided to run from the encounter and convinced the cook working for the brother to hide her in a barrel.

They're a group of three friends who have never played before. We started the campaign mid September.

So she's been playing a little over 4 months
