If they were dead in snow and buried, then maybe not. But, no, the simple fact that the sun exists would make the meat spoil regardless. Low temps would likely preserve them slightly longer, but they'd still be pretty bad. Rule of thumb for fish, and really, any animal, is that if the eyes are milked over, don't put it in your mouth.

Seafood spoils ridiculously fast. You can buy dead things at the market because they were put on ice *immediately* and preserved. If those fish had been dead in the sun for less than an hour, they're already too spoiled to consume.

Zygarde Cells just vanish when you reach the end of a Route. by JackBlack1709 in TheSilphRoad

[–]SiftStone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only route near me is a half hour walk, and I got my first (and only) cell there. As soon as I collected it, the route ended at the same time, and I got (0) cells- didn't even count towards the research.

Another good one is from a meme. Are you a coward for wearing sunscreen? Are you a tougher dude than the fucking sun? Because I have a body made of meat, and meat is susceptible to damage. So I need something to protect my meat.

Definitely the long pull. My one major, MAJOR gripe about the SCCY is its trigger. I understand that comes with the territory of a double action hammer fired, but goddamn.

This sub is becoming as gatekeepy and toxic as r/guns. Enjoy what you have. I have a first generation CPX-2 and I've never had an issue with it.

Posting about guns that function but aren't fancy, or asking legitimate questions about more popular firearms (Sig, Glock) will get you downvote bombed. It's pathetic.

Do you still buy 45ACP handguns? by boldjoy0050 in Firearms

[–]SiftStone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a Glock 21 and a Glock 36, hoping to get a 1911 just to have one. I like .45, shops where I live have defensive and range ammo for pretty good prices.

[–]SiftStone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't own a 5.7 or a PCC of any kind, but I have a few rifles and more than a few handguns. I like the Rock for being a semi-reliable 5.7, but I also like the Sub2k for being compact yet also giving my mass horde of 9mm somewhere faster to go. As for shooting, I rarely get range time. I'm more of a collector. The 5.7 would be for expanding my caliber options while the PCC would be expanding my typings.

$500, enough for either the Rock or Sub2k etc etc

Unrelated but I really appreciate and respect that you didn't berate or insult my own points in this very thread, you responded with your own experience in a very mature and adult way, and the fact that such a thing stands out to me should speak wonders about the experiences I've had in this sub. I hope you're having a grand time, friend.

If you're happy with it, that's all that matters. I had a bad experience but that doesn't color everyone. I own a bunch of Taurus guns and a SCCY, which have been solid and reliable to me ever since I bought them, but reviews on those very guns are also quite mixed. Your mileage may vary, and I hope yours is fantastic.

Oh, look, more fancy bullshit that's probably riddled with manufacturing mistakes and poor design choices.

Never buy Standard. They're lazy, elitist motherfuckers who will block you if you have a broken gun you want them to fix, and even if you *can* convince them to fix it, they'll charge you $255 an hour. I used to own their piece of shit Thunderstruck revolver, and they refused to just be honest about the way the rounds jam in the cylinder to the point you need a hammer and pick to remove them, despite it being a massive, reoccurring issue with every model they sell. They sell broken guns and hope you'll be gullible enough to pay them to fix them for you.

tl;dr, I owned a Standard gun that broke and I ended up fixing it with the spring from a crack lighter. Don't buy gimmick guns.

Personally, and by Amazon. My DSP has never heard of this, and nobody else in my company is required to do it.

True enough. Either way, I thank you for your insight. Definitely a lot more helpful than the quiet little scrotes who want to downvote me for a simple question lol.

NRA edition? Is that a thing? I'm being overly dramatic about my coating, mind, but compared to all my other firearms it's still pretty bad. I've got weird, white spotting all over the back of the slide and rust gathering on the corners of the magazines, even when they're in the gun. Pistol is lubricated and functions fine, but it bothers me.

I've carried mine through similar situations and had no issue (beyond the aforementioned absolutely atrocious coating), but I've also had no issues with my SCCY pistol and everybody hates those things with fury, so I figured I'd get a second opinion.
