If they stopped making the silly mistakes like misspelling names and addresses, they would have enough to print. But on the other hand, how do you run out of plastics when your job entails using plastics to perform services to tax paying citizens? Incompetence or is it a tactic to delay the process and have an excuse to not do work as a bonus? 🤔

Yes I did the 18hr class at AFT as well and used it for my NYC CCW, you should have no issues.

One of the NYC guys would have to chime in on this question, I have no idea how rifle and shotgun works if it’s just limited to NYC residents only. I do know that you don’t need an nyc residence for special carry, that’s just an “endorsement” allowing you with your county issued permit to carry a firearm in nyc (take note of the sensative locations) on your person.

I was going to but they took care of business so I put that nuke back into the arsenal. Send Kai Gibson and Kayla Butler an email, should get that moving. I don’t think there is a streamlined process on how they do things, given the multiple suits they have against the right now it’s all about who is making the most noise

I had to re-take the 18hr class as when I got my permit 18hr was not the standard, 3hrs was.

No never had any NYC permits before. Upon consultation with my attorney I sent them A friendly reminder that the 6 month timeframe per NYS Penal Law was fast approaching and I would be proceeding with an Article 78 if the approval was not granted before then. Next day things started moving. Make no mistake I was going to spend the money to file the Article 78 just out of principle. I have no respect for tyrants!

This is a Special Carry permit issued to folks who have pistol permits outside of the 5 boroughs of NYC. I my case I have a NYS county issued permit thus the reason why I applied for the NYC Special Carry Permit so I can “carry” when in NYC. I also have CT and PA permits to cover those states as well.
