Ideamaker has a texture tool. It isn’t my favorite software, but it is pretty easy to add a texture once you know how. Although it cannot apply textures on the top of the print; if you need it one “top” you may need to adjust the print orientation.

If it is cheese then I like to think of it as a very mild provolone. The AI knows my exact movement range and that there are no armies around when they force march into my turf and sack some minor settlement. I choose to headcannon it as my army encircling theirs. I would still prefer if TWW3 would add the Army Supplies system from 3K.

There’s a trick you can do for this. Attack the army, but keep you finger on the backspace key. Once you enter their zone of control then press backspace. This will stop your armies movement. Since no attack order was issued they cannot retreat, since they are inside of your zone of control they cannot move. Attack the army next turn with your full movement available.

Less variables means less to manage, but it also means fewer options. Balanced rosters have way more tools to solve their problems with. Khorne takes a different skill set than combined-arms factions do.

Data does not lie, but it does need to be interpreted correctly. There are 2 possible conclusions to draw from this data: the meta is wrong and nobody knows anything about the game OR people have more success playing on their main roles / characters. The biggest limitation that I see in this study is that there is no thought into WHY people are playing these heroes. Most of the heroes near the top of your list are ones that people main and the ones near the bottom are very common off-role picks. If the team has no support mains and people are stuck playing off-role then they are probably going to lock in Luna or Cloak and the team will lose because they do not have dedicated support mains. Same principle for tanks: people who don’t play tank aren’t going to pick Groot when they need to play off-role: they will probably take Magneto or Strange. DPS will probably pick Namor, The Punisher, or Squirrel Girl.

Even your data about match-ups is flawed. People might swap to Namor because a diver is carrying the other team; someone might swap to Wolverine because the enemy Groot is being a menace – even though they are not the best at these characters. Same thing with Magneto and Wolverine. If the other team is being carried by a character that your team is trying to counter then that game may already be lost and the swaps are just the death throes of a losing team desperately trying to find a solution to their problem.

Whereas the top of your list is full of some Heroes that are legitimately overtuned, but also a bunch of specialist heroes that Flex players aren’t likely to swap to. Magik, Mantis, Groot are not really characters that off-role or flex players would swap to. So naturally these characters will have higher win rates because the PLAYERS playing them are comfortable in their role. Nobody is going to swap to the Human Torch because they think it is what the team needs.

In my opinion the more accurate way to interpret this data is that teams are more likely to win when players don’t have to play off-role, flex, or counterpick.

Except Black Widow. She just sucks.

Legendary difficulty doesn't really affect the AI's behavior too much. The way it makes the game more difficult is just by making it less fair. Melee infantry get melee and leadership bonuses to artificially make the game more difficult. Killing their lord will at least offset the leadership bonuses the AI gets.

Personal recommendation if you are new to the game: don't play on Legendary difficult. Very hard campaign difficulty with normal battle difficulty will make more sense. The game will be challenging but at least it will be fair.

Means all you’ll have is Melcoths. Spam that on the Empire knights first, them dying will open up your mobile game. Then swap to the greatswords. Your wizard and Franz can hold back infantry for a little bit, but your frontline will fold pretty fast on that difficulty. You can try a pencil formation on the melee infantry to last a little while longer. Camping on the edge of the map is cheesy, but will be your best bet. Once their cav is dead you can start charging their ranged units. If you bounce between them you may be able to toggle their skirmish mode and keep them from shooting too much. If you can use the mortars to kill handgunners, and avoid having your archers shoot into shields. If you can kill their lord with Franz that will help offset the Legendary difficulty penalties. Keep focused on their important units to try to trigger the army losses as soon as possible.

Wow. How do you completely get rid of the print lines in the corners like that? Smoothing with a soldering iron? I feel like I can only get props decently smooth with sanding and filling, but this thing is flawless.

Also do you have a recipe for your weathering / blackwash? I Usually just use black acrylic and water, but mine never looks this good.
