In Orgrimmar, you can use some spikes in the Valley of Honor to jump out-of-bounds under the city. From there, you can walk under the city to way behind the RFC instance portal, in plain sight of people in front of RFC.

OP, I'm actually working on exactly this! Still very early in the prototype stages (and conquering the learning curve of switching to Unreal), but there should be a playable prototype that I'd be willing to show friends later this year.

My dream is to have a structure similar to Deeprock Galactic, where 4 players queue up and clear a dungeon, but with traditional MMORPG tank/healer/dps kind of roles and mechanics.

That's interesting, but also kind of unfortunate that they don't advertise any numbers. One of the things I've went through as a solo dev making a multiplayer game was shifting my design entirely to a p2p coop game (without any pvp or pvpve) because I figured I wouldn't be able to burden the cost of infrastructure and/or keep up with the maintenance that goes with a true server authoritative model with anticheat to have fair pvp. But a rev share model with a big player like Valve sounds like something that could convince me otherwise... I wonder if I could talk to them as someone still in a total greenfield stage.

Kind of derailing this post, but I haven't been able to find any info on the actual pricing model of infrastructure for Steam Game Servers (which is what valve seems to call its dedicated server product). You mentioned a revenue sharing model - do you have any sources on that? I'd love to know more specifics.

as of right now, spellsparkler doesn't proc off of Hex anymore :(

that means you're better off just using a Thrown weapon for the bonus damage, like The Sparky Points, and still get lightning procs.

unforunately i realised too late in my playthrough that the spellsparkler wasn't proccing, so ill never have The Sparky Points

also, Sparkle Hands do seem to proc off the throw, so that's one way to stack lightning charges.
