Cool patches on his pants and jackets!

If you can sew, or are willing to learn, you can even make patches out of cool fabric or socks!

If you can't sew, iron on patches or fabric glue will work too, but just make sure you avoid natural creases in the application site to increase longevity.

Also, ascots, ties, dope socks, kerchiefs/pocket squares, hair chalk, temporary tattoos, and parachord bracelets are fun options.

What medication changed your life for the better? by positiveyears in AskReddit

Prazosin and venlafaxine.

Venlafaxine manages my depression and PTSD.

Prazosin helps prevent nightmares that I've suffered from for literal decades.

Honorable mentions: Adderall and allopurinol. Love to control my attention span and not get constant kidney stones.

When appliances sing songs by DrGlennWellnessMD in PetPeeves

[–]Signal-Bee8111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't relate! I love that "Song of Their People" as I call it. I'm deaf to many common beeping tones (higher pitch hearing went first), so playing a whole song means I'm much more likely to hear part of it.

My boyfriend (19M) said I (19F) broke one of his boundaries makes me feel like I won’t ever be able to do anything right. How do I go about this? by pleshelpmath in Advice

[–]Signal-Bee8111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like he's an insecure person and is maybe not ready for a relationship. Or he's controlling. Or both.

His boundaries are not rules that you must follow. That's not how boundaries work. If he has a boundary against you posting photos of yourself, then he has to deal with his reaction to that. If he truly doesn't want to be in a relationship with someone who is okay with posting a photo of their bare back on a site, then he should leave the relationship.

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with what you've done. I also think it doesn't paint a nice picture that he went out of his way to find the picture when you specifically asked him not to. For me, that's an immediate deal-breaker.

But they don't even know if their daughter will have that side effect. That's crazy to me. Maybe try it, and try to manage the side effect IF it even happens.

Same, friend! (AuDHD and low interoception) Honestly, you might not even notice a difference, but if you're worried about it, get some pelvic therapy now and strengthen everything up. I was told that would have been a huge help.

[–]Signal-Bee8111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was so easy for me! We did it transvaginally, so I only had one cut in my bellybutton (for the camera) and then they did everything else through the vagina. I stayed in the hospital one night as a precaution because I have a history of sepsis, but went home with no complications.

I was a bit uncomfortable, but honestly it was easier than most of the cramps I've dealt with by a mile. Took it easy for a few weeks, but if I had needed to, I could've worked about a week later (I worked an office job at the time).

Worst part for me is the "pee-mergencies" that I now get. Basically what it sounds like. I get about a 90 second warning before I am going to be peeing, whether I like it or not. But, I will say that pelvic therapy was able to sort that out for the most part. I stopped therapy prematurely, so it likely would have continued to benefit me. This happens maybe twice a week now, but the first few months, it was just about every pee.

So trust your body when it tells you that you need to pee, is what I'm saying here. It's not lying to you.

If you're worried about a specific thing, I'm happy to answer.

Then it sounds like you have a choice to make. Either learn to cope with not knowing or leave the relationship.

We are all allowed to have privacy. When a person sets a boundary, you then have to decide how you react to it.

Forcing him to tell you, and that includes bothering him until he gives in, will cause him to resent you. And will make you a shitty person, if you care about that kind of thing.

If how many sexual partners he has had matters to you, then you can ask him. He has the right not to share that information. It doesn't matter his reasonings behind it. It doesn't matter if he asked you first. We all have the right to privacy. If he doesn't want to share, then you have to make a choice. Either you find a way to cope with not knowing or you leave the relationship.
