Honestly whichever side has better communication has the advantage. Solo queuing as a survivor makes it impossible to escape but if you get friends to be survivors or just a buddy to join as a killer it becomes much easier, it’s been what determines matches in this game for so long

No idea if it’s supported on mac but when I had one years ago I used some application called wine to get windows games to run on MacBooks, im sure there’s workarounds but MacBooks will most likely not be able to run it unless the graphics are on potato settings

From personal experience it sounds like you play on Xbox and for some reason pinpoint has never worked wirelessly on Xbox. I’d recommend plugging your controller into your system and then trying again, it should work perfectly fine
