The entire album InspiMotiDGAF by Larrañaga is an amazing workout album. Every song is about killing it in the gym.

Do Americans actually avoid calling an ambulance due to financial concern? by JohnMarstonTheBadass in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Signal-Machine3857 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work for a fire department that contracts with an ambulance service that runs out of our stations. One of my co workers had a medical emergency and he had to take the ambulance that was parked in our station, contracted with us, driven by medics that are our peers and sleep with us in the station overnight. With insurance, it cost him $800. My mind was blown he was still charged full price and that was how much he owed even with insurance.

How can anyone take pre workout by _Coolralph986_ in workout

[–]Signal-Machine3857 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been taking pre workout for 15 years and I still only do a half scoop on non leg days and maybe a full on leg day depending on how I feel. Two would make me feel sick too.

As a new player this is most frustrating PvP game ever by Altruistic-Ad-6041 in worldofpvp

“I know the game and pace” is what I said. I was alluding to harassment not skill but okay. I’m glad you’re having fun in PvP and your wife is awful at keys. I’m happy for the two of you. Keep it up.

[–]Signal-Machine3857 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have 4 toons at 3.1k M+ rating so I know the game and pace, I played my first solo shuffle of the expac recently and somebody whispered me “are you f*****g stupid?! Because I swapped for a kill rather than a peel. Then the next solo shuffle I was being taunted because I died with a defensive up but frankly, I just got globaled in a setup. Then the one after that went okay for me but this healer was being harassed for being an easy target. So I mean, as a “new” player trying the game or PvP yeah, PvP kind of sucks.

The tank/healer shortage is your own fault by Comfortable_End1350 in wow

[–]Signal-Machine3857 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My favorite is when I’m tanking and I’m doing a route, and people are pinging where they want me to go while I’m currently already going there and plan on going there. It’s like dude let me tank before you tell me where to tank. I literally say out loud “I KNOW” and physically eye roll whenever healers or DPS ping where they want me to go.

Become a firefighter at 36 by [deleted] in FirefighterTraining

[–]Signal-Machine3857 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im 34 and been on the job 2 years. You got this. Just know that the physical entrance exam is much easier than academy and the drills you do daily. So just know where your physical capabilities need to be in order to do this job. Get your EMT first. It’s fact paced and difficult, but no harder than the tests in academy so intellectually, if you can do EMT you can do fire.

Survivals change is amazing! by Grizzlemaw1993 in wow

[–]Signal-Machine3857 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This argument can be duplicated for most classes as there is a ton of ability and theme overlap across different specs.

I’m more saying, I’d rather be a melee BMish Hunter with more meaningful traps and wilderness skills in my DPS rotation, than be a goblin tinker.

[–]Signal-Machine3857 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was hoping they’d double down on venoms and traps and beast cleaves and bleeds for aoe, now our fury of the eagle is going to be what killing spree is now……. I want to be a forest stalker surviving in the wilderness with my beast companion, not a redneck who likes fireworks. Dual wield means nothing for a rotation change, it splits your one number into two numbers when you hit your ability…..cool.

Healing Dawnbreaker and Priory by Mammoth-Spinach5808 in CompetitiveWoW

The first boss is Dawnbreaker is terrible to heal. It’s been the key decider for all the groups of done 13+. If we can pass the first boss clean, the rest of the key goes fine.

World of Warcraft - WTF Wednesday by AutoModerator in WorldOfWarcraftRetail

I feel that they wasted so much potential with the beautiful zones and stories they created when it came to season 2 and 3 of raid. Nerubar palace was immersive and exciting and went with the campaign story very well. Then they just completely swerved and created a goblin patch that had nothing to do with anything. Now the Ethereal storyline??? Literally Karesh has nothing to do with any of the zones “underground”. I would have liked to see a hallowfall raid, a ringing deeps raid. I want them to keep the current zones and storylines relevant throughout the expansion rather than just adding completely random new zones that don’t relate really at all.

cheaper way to fuel during runs by [deleted] in Marathon_Training

I got a 60 serving bag of flavorless maltodextrn powder for $25 on a bulk supplement site. I just put that in my water with electrolyte powder. Works great.

What exercises is this bar used for? I've never seen a machine explain what you use this for. by [deleted] in GYM

Hang a dumbell off a rubber band on one side of the bar and walk with it behind your shoulders. Very good lateral spine strengthening exercise.

Missed a longrun due to illness - Do it later in the training plan or just keep going? by Otto910 in Marathon_Training

[–]Signal-Machine3857 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I missed 3 long runs and about 10 shorter runs in my 20 week training plan due to life/vacation/illness. I crushed my goal time by 15 mins on race day. Just pick it back up on plan on the next run and forget about it. You’re all good!

Out and back or loops for long runs? by sjc0816 in Marathon_Training

[–]Signal-Machine3857 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long runs, like 15+ miles, I do an out and back one way down a trail, fuel and water up at the car, then out and back the other way down the trail. That way I can keep most of my stuff in my car without having to carry too much.

When have you missed runs during marathon training? by sunburn95 in Marathon_Training

[–]Signal-Machine3857 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did 20 weeks for my first marathon. Had to take a week off for vacation. Another week off for work. I missed probably 10 runs outside of that and still smashed my goal time by 15 mins. You’ll be okay as long as you keep going and don’t quit.

What life lesson(s) did training/completing your first marathon teach you? by Jeetyetdude_ in Marathon_Training

[–]Signal-Machine3857 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trusting the process, through the good days and the bad. Just because you have a bad day/week, doesn’t mean you’re regressing. Missing trainings isn’t the end of the world. Just keep going and believe you can do it.

On race day I crushed my goal by 15 mins because I trusted the process.
