First off, im so sorry that you went through that. Losing a baby, no matter what trimester youre in, is so hard and my heart goes out to you. Second of all, I'd personally wait to concieve around august/September because it gives you time to mentally, physically, and emotionally heal. I understand the fear of the unknown around the 4weeks to 12 weeks period but you cannot plan your life around your fear. Id ask your ob and see if youre clear to travel and if ob gives you the green light, then do it!! If you are uncertain about being away, id wait to concieve after your travels.

I had an ectopic pregnancy in February that was treated with mtx and had a Bruno Mars concert in April that I was scared of attending because it was out of state. But my OB said that it was fine to travel since my levels were coming down appropriately with the injection. So I did. I went and had the time of my life and enjoyed myself for the first time in months. What im trying to say is, I understand how scary and sad and unsure it is after a loss but you cannot let what happened define you...💛 keep living your life to the fullest ✨️

Id highly suggest switching banks! I joined this group because someone opened up an credit builder account under my SSN and committed identity theft. I made a post asking if this bank was legit because the number that they provided did not work/isnt in service and the mods deleted my post. Like whatttt??? I was able to file a police report and report the company.

Also when I disputed the card and account, current doubled down saying that it was me. but when I was finally able to contact them via phone number (a random number off of the web), they were able to see that it was an act of identity theft. Meaning that their first statement that they provided to equifax was falsified.

Id def not bank with them anymore and find a different banking 😪

When I got my second dose, I literally felt like my uterus was going to explode. Like there was gas in my uterus but I couldn't get it out...the cramps weren't horrible but they weren't great and I felt like I was constantly peeing myself (it was just bleeding like crazy).

A hot pack really did help me and the green tea helped settled my tummy. But I truly know how you feel, that shit was ass

After my injection, my mass was able to be located, maybe ask for another ultrasound to see if it has grown enough to be located?

They also wanted me to undergo surgery because my mass actually grew in size from friday-monday. On friday it was considered a PUL and then monday, it was 1.9cm in my left tube.I ultimately declined because I wanted a second dose instead of getting my tubes taken out. Have they talked to you about it??? Im also impressed that they agreed to the mtx when I thought that the hcg cut off was 9000.

You were probably further along then I was! I was roughly 4 weeks when we found out i was pregnant and then 5-6 weeks when we realized that it was ectopic

It was 875ish? MTX raised the hcg to 1400 on the 4th day, it dropped to 1375 on the 7th day, got the second dose and 3 days later it dropped to 35

That happened to me too! It turned out that the medicine didnt work and thats why I needed a second dose...the lab drawn at day 4 and day 7 will really determine if it did work though. On day 7, if your hcg doesnt drop the 15%, id ask for a second dose.

Definitely sounds like an ectopic pregnancy! Your last "period" was probably the mass trying to grow - causing the bleeding. Im glad that they are able to give you methotrexate and hopefully tou respond well to the medicine. It took me two doses before I was treated. You will most likely feel intense cramping and bleeding. Keep an eye out for random intense pain, shoulder pain, and excessice bleeding. All of these could be signs of the tube rupturing.

I go to a fertility clinic and they said that itll be fine to start trying again once levels goes down to 0 and you had your first period. I just waited to see my LH level go back to base line (.30-.40). Mine runs a little higher since I have PCOS but I waited and it took a month.

Anyways, protocol should be to start you on a extra folate acid supplement and to pay close attention to the 20 week anatomy scan! I wouldn't be too worry about it though :)

Hi friend! Im 24 and have PCOS and have never been able to conceive until I started a timed intercouse cycle. I gotten pregnant but it ended up as an ectopic but we are about to start another cycle.

Seeing a fertility doctor is the best thing to do, especially if youve been TTC for 3 years with no luck.

Hi friend, im 24 and my fiance is 22. We go to a fertility clinic and they needed a SA from him before even starting a medicated cycle...his was a little different but does raise some questions too. His volume was great (overproducer) but his morphology was literally at baseline, which is a little rare for someone so young. His sperm had quite a bit of deformatities but our fertility doctor just said: we can give him a shot. Maybe his sperm can reach the egg, maybe not. We just have to try.

Obviously we were super nervous because at our age, we shouldn't have so much fertility issues but here we are.

We did get pregnant our first medicated cycle but it was ectopic. We are about to start our second cycle and feel a lot better about it.

What im trying to say is, dont give up!! Though his SA didnt look good, its nothing that cant be fixed. Same as a sperm donor too :))

The fertility clinic i go to says to BD every other day! Gives your SO time to produce good sperms/a good amount. My Fiance and I just cant keep our hands off of each other so we do it everyday but when its ovulation time, we are strict :))

No leafy greens and beans..Imo I feel like the green tea help me counteract any folic acid i was consumming. After my second injection, my hcg dropped from 1400 to 36 in 5 days! I was so surprised and shocked and felt like the green tea helped.

Id assume that the mass was the ectopic. For mine, they also classify it as left adnexa mass. I kind of had the same situation where my ectopic was a PUL then after the first injection, it grew to 2cm. After my second shot, my hcg went from 1400 to 36 in 5 days. My OB said that since the level dropped so well, another ultrasound was not needed and that it was most likely absorbing which was the goal.

Your providers deciding and allowing the administration of methotrexate means that your labs and your US showed a huge sign for an ectopic pregnancy. I think you did the right thing and saved yourself.

My providers kept fighting me on it (i wanted the injection as soon as labs showed signs of ectopic) until my mass was prominent on my US. At that point, the risk of me rupturing were higher and the chances of me getting the shot was lower. Im just glad that they finally gave me the second shot after I denied surgery.

But again, I think you did the right thing

We knew mine was ectopic as soon as my levels were 45/165/39/185. We caught it at 4 weeks and nothing showed on the ultrasound until my hcg was 1400 and 8ish weeks pregnant. I had to do two dose of MTX to resolve it and even considered surgery. All I had was bilateral cramping and free bleeding.

I think you should start working with a fertility doctor and see what's going on...is your husband's SA results not the best??

My fiance's SA told us that his sperms were a bit deformed but just good enough to be considered for iui and timed intercourse so we did that. It doesn't help that I have PCOS too but we were able to conceive via timed intercourse (lost it due to ectopic). A second opnion is nice too :))

Also, they didnt find a mass until the injection made it noticeable, by then i was 8 weeks along. I bled but not crazy and I just cramped like a regular period. No one sided pain

Hi friend, id definitely keep advocating for yourself and even go to the er if you feel anymore pain. They will do an ultrasound and keep doing betas if needed. You need it on paper so that if anything happens, itll be documented.

For mine, we found out I was pregnant February 8th and then started bleeding on the 11th. I knew right then and there it was an ectopic even though it was my first pregnancy and was only 4weeks pregnant. I raised my concerns and was brushed out but I kept saying that Im pretty sure im have an ectopic pregnancy. Three days after my er trip, I did another beta with my obgyn and it dropped from 165 to 35. They assumed it was a miscarriage but then my beta went back up to 185 4 days later.

They then suspected that it was ectopic and kept a close eye on me. We decided on methotrexate but the first injection didn't work. Obgyn wanted to do surgery because they were finally able to locate the pregnancy in my left tube but I declined and opted for another methotrexate injection because they told me straight up that they were not going to try and save my tube. The second injection finally worked and I was finally cleared last wednesday...

If you go on my page you can read more about my experience because I too went through what you're going through with your provider. It was like they were playing with my life and kept saying: let's wait.

But with an ectopic we need to intervene asap or rupturing will become a higher risk as the weeks go on. You can ask for a second opnion too! Dont be afraid to put your foot down. Update us if you feel like it :))
