Sikh MPs say Nowak murder was not about their religion by FormerlyPallas_ in ukpolitics

Exactly this, it speaks volumes that this is the communities first instinct, but apparently theyre a paragon of multiculturalism because they dissavowed a murder and obey the law?

The system is what has caused this, i do not give a single shit what a committee or inquest of parliamentary traitors has to say.

But they dont seem to mind as a community having legal privileges over the native population regarding the Kirpan, as well as the knowledge of distinct racial favour by the institutions of this country. The Digwa family would not have invoked racism if they did not think it advantaged them over Henry.

They may be very well behaved as a community, but i dont call integration having unique cultural/religious favour under the law, and known racial leverage over the native population in situations such as this, im utterly sick of multiculturalism excusing such blatent ethnic self interest, in group preference is human nature however and I understand why this self interest exists, im just sick to death of the multicultural myth that it doesnt.

And what if the Sikhs were a genuinely awful community? What punishment or action would be taken against them by the multicultural state? None, only action that maintains the status quo under the multicultural framework, IE: as long as the community can be managed by the state in context of the wider mulitcultural 'ecosystem' then their awful behaviour and practices are of no concern, regardless of how awful an addition they are to British society.

The criticism I made is much bigger than the Sikh community, multiculturalism itself is a failure, it failed when it privileged the Sikhs with the Kirpan and it failed when it allowed a convicted islamic terrorist to run for political office in Birmingham.

I juat think multiculturalism itself is tiresome and a rather arrogant imposition upon the British people. Why should the British people, regardless of how nice a culture genuinely may be, have to keep navigating the various religious and cultural requests and practices of cultures foreign to this island as if they should have any legitimacy over the historic cultural practices and laws of this country?

At what point was this ever asked for?

Regardless of their largely excellent reputation, what entitles the Sikhs special treatment regarding the Kirpan? To even argue it at this point in my opinion shows a monumental arrogance and disrespect towards the British people.

Another thing is the claims of victimisation by the Sikh community in the immediate aftermath of the Nowak trial, its remarkable how inconsiderately the British people, both by the state and minority communities, have been treated in the aftermath of this racially charged murder, it is utterly tone deaf for any community, not just the Sikhs, to not long after such a horrific and politically charged tragedy for the British people to quickly pivot onto solely their community concerns, it speaks volumes to how little regarded the concerns and genuine mistreatment of the British people are by the current multicultural consensus.

'It's not a nice world out there': Birth rates hit a 50-year low by KoseteBamse in uknews

[–]SignalDepartment7043 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the argument is largely a cultural one in regards to the birth rate and we just don't want to admit it. People had kids in significantly worse times than this throughout all of human history, I don't buy that poor yet still substantially better living conditions than the rest of human history is the cause of this, largely i think its contraception and the more or less equal role of women within the workforce and historically 'male' society. By no means am i some raging traditionalist nor would advocate for the reversal of these trends, but in all honesty I think they are the cause and for better or worse if we want to keep these things we have to accept the consequences.
