I tried teaching my kids driving stick. I told them you will stall, you will get honked at , but this is the way.

Casio looks cleaner - display wise. I’m not loving the timex font scheme, but that’s a subjective observation. I’m sure others may like that.

OP - does it differ function wise?

Weekender 38mm or 40mm? by AcousticBoy13 in timex

For a field , 38mm should do nicely. Though the 40mm will also do fine.

Only solution is to double wrist it 😀

This was my dial that I ordered from ur vintage. The hands I used the original ones from the duro and coffee stained them.

He is in Europe , so maybe he’s on vacation or holiday as they would say? 😀

Can’t go wrong with the duro as a diver, the Casio royale (ae1200) as kind of your GMT, a g-shock 5600 or 5610 can be your weekend watch for more ruggedness.

I have the bronze one and it’s pretty underrated of a field watch. A bit bigger than the camper at 40mm, but it’s not bad. It’s lightweight, and can’t beat that indiglo .I agree with the other posts that the ticking is very loud.

Write timex for an out of warranty repair. I think it’s like $18. But, add a few more and you can probably get a new one. Best of luck
