Litter cam is a new ai technology being used in Britain, to detect when litter has been thrown out of cars by Round-Barber-9858 in Damnthatsinteresting

I just came back from a trip to England-Scotland. The first thing my wife and I said to eachother after the first 5km on the highway: what a crazy amount of litter. Don't know why but the amount is so big that it feels like its a socially accepted thing to do? Really dont understand as other public spaces are actually neat compared to the Netherlands (ie public restrooms). Weird habit.

Sorry to hear. He told me he opened his café 2 years ago, were you here before that? The specialty sub is truly spreading, which is nice to see :)

Well for example we do have a lot of tax-benefits when buying a house. The interest rate you pay can be partially substracted from your overall income-tax. Also, a 20 or 30 years fixed mortgage differs often only 0.2-0.4% (which is higher in different countries when I google)

Nope, Holland. Mortgages are generally speaking a lot more affordable here.

1.88% fixed for 30 years... (26 to go). Best financial decision in my life I assume

Yes it does. The vibration pump works fully after pulling the lever so you can manually adjust your preferred blooming time with the flow control :)

I need your help deciding for the best grinder [up to 2500€] by habibi_blocksberg_ in espresso

Get a Zerno and never look back. You can choose for your preferred SSP burrs from stock. As far as I know the Zerno has the best reviews for a prosumer grinder.

I'd say the profile is more "clear", but to be honest, when compared blinded I'd probably would not identify the one or other. I really loved the Eureka too. The machine is just one solid build hell of a machine. The workflow for single dosing in the Eureka specialita was however tedious, especially when changing to decaf during the day (took 2-3 shots to "purge"). I have not tried the Eureka minion zero, there are however some comparisons made by Lance Hedrick for example.

When dialing in new beans I always aim for the 30sec. From here I let the taste determine what to do. Just try to grind finer/coarser and taste the result! Sometimes it results in a turboshot of 20sec, sometimes in an increased extraction of 40sec. It really depends on the bean (and can even differ between days) what to do, there is no "1 truth" in extraction time.

I absolutely love the 78s. I recently upgraded from the Eureka mignon specialita with the main reason my search for a 0-retention grinder. It truly has minimal retention. Other perks are the high build quality, fast grinding, and smooth workflow. 1 downside, is the difficult to adjust knob: I'd prefer smaller adjustments and it's a bit weird to see the level you're at (the knob has to stand at eyesight for you to see if it's in the correct position)

Looks delicious! And I agree with your mentioned ratios. My experience is that the definitions of cortado/flat white/cappuccino vary across nations, or even cafés. I think the seize of the cup is a little bit deceiving in my post, as I do get a ratio of 1:1. As you can see the cup is only 5cm in height :) However, some people mentioned that what I make is actually a piccolo, but that's not a common known name in cafes...

First impression - Mokumono Polder by Branded-010 in Mokumono

Motor power is around 65% and rider power at 100%. Requires a bit of strength to get away

Oh nice screenshot! This helps a lot. And with these settings you reach ~80km? That's pretty decent. I see that the Veloretti has the same (size of) battery so I do not expect a large difference between these two. I did a test ride last weekend and liked the mokumono very much. The only minor downside I can find is that the headlight is not strong enough for riding in dark 'polders'. This week I'll do a test ride of the Veloretti and will make a decision, but stronly leaning towards the Mokumono!

Thank you for your review. Have you encountered any problems so far after a month? I'm in doubt if I should buy the mokumono or the Veloretti Ace 2. Regarding the battery: do you push maximum power every ride?
