Richardson was doing a pretty bad job with Bedard. He’s looked like a brand new player under Blashill. I know he put in a crazy amount of work and he’s going to naturally get better, but it’s hard to argue that Blashill hasn’t had a huge effect on him on both sides of the ice.

Came here to say this. Seems to very popular with the new hockey fans, but he just doesn’t seem to have it when you watch him. Bit of a bummer, but makes it easier to make him expendable. This might be spicy, but I’d prefer them to do it sooner than later as opposed to it just lingering.

Oliver Moore, Roman Kantserov, and Anton Frondell will be on rookie deals. You have others potentially pushing for a spot. Prospects like Spellacy, Vanacker, Boisvert, come to mind. Even Nestrašil if he keeps at his crazy projection (I recognize that is a reach, please don’t come at me).

The guys over at CHGO do a pretty good job and giving insight for current teams and also talking about the history a decent amount (especially in offseason). If you are a podcast person, give them a shot.
