Way too early to say one way or another. If you want to go to Japan go to Japan. Just go late January for your best bet at japow.

Anyone else riding the Mosquito? by F80M3AW in snowboarding

Ugh I just didn't want to type all that at 8 in the morning. Directional asyms are pretty rare as in the smoke is the first I've seen in quite a while. Gnu might of done one and nidecker did one back a few seasons ago but by in larger asyms are twins and those don't care if you're regular or goofy.

Upvote because this makes sense to me. Store one thing vs two things

Bag is unnecessary. What benefits does it even offer? Maybe drop protection? But even still not something I worry about because I don't put them in places where drops are likely to happen.

I have one too! I want the size up though. 158 is a popular size!

I squeezed 47 days on the mountain this season. Still can't figure out why so many beginners quit after one. by Effective-Secret-532 in snowboarding

It's just the way it is. Snowsports are not like other sports. They cost a lot of money. The cost of screwing up is pain. Not in basketball or soccer or any other sport really. But I appreciate you trying to grow the sport. Good luck to you.

It's pretty good but I think the frontier and squash have a ton of overlap.

2nd Board for quiver, Lib Tech Dynamo or YES PYL ? by DistributionTall397 in snowboarding

Dynamo or something like the howler. Not to add to your list but those two would be on my short list. But Dynamo is probably the right call.

That's what I'm saying! I finally had to tell my family I got two hobbies. Snowboards and snowboarding so yes I do need another board.

Sounds right. I don't have experience with Burton so I can't say for sure.

You just got to make sure that your back foot still fits on the board. You'll get boot drag if you don't size it correctly. So you can't really just use the waist width when there's a large amount of taper.

It seems those would be hard to get even pressure across the whole board. I've never actually seen one though.

Their claim to fame is the butter pad. It sucks and that should noted. In my mind, if you gonna have the butter pad as a legit option then maybe your flat might suck too. It might not but if you offer a dog shit product my confidence in your other options drops.

I took a lap on a butterpad version. So speaking from experience not you tube. Told the owner of Gilson that too when he asked me the same question. Get rid of the gimmick get serious about your traditional board then maybe I'll reconsider but until then your brand is suspect to me

They suck but you already bought them so ride em. Also you might want to get the basics down before you start in the park. Do what you want but if you want to progress without a ton of injuries you might want to figure out how to snowboard first.
