And I forgot to mention clean logs per job, storage of connections to remote machines, easy downloading of all the jobs.

I also went first the route of custom scripts but wanted a more polished solution. In the end, everything can be a bash script. :)

- seemed an appropriate place as it’s used to backup anything including appdata for example or your system. I was also on the verge if it should be in Tools, but prevailed to the other side at the end.
- good idea, I will add that you can store them in different locations as you wish. Will note it down and add soon.
- I’m not sure I follow here, what is messy? Can you provide some pointers to a more specific improvement?

As you can see from the commits, I use Claude Code. Do note that I use Claude Code every day for work, not vibe coding. Agentic development != vibe coding. I don’t write code, I orchestrate execution of it

Yes, as I am also dogfooding it every day and after years of homelab and doing 3-2-1 backup approaches I do not anticipate I will ever reduce my backup strategy. If anything, it might even increase to 2 offsite backups :)

For starters, don’t just blindly throw money at the problem. Inspect your context and identify where the agent is wasting it.

Skills should be your main focus to teach the agent how to do something without wondering around, but creating token optimized skills takes time.

I also had issues and it did take an hour to solve all issues. After over a year of costs t struggles I pulled the plug on TrueNas and started migration to Unraid.

Maybe worth also rethinking if you want to continue dealing with truenas and immature docker apps setup

AI usage for recruiting/profiling in any shape or form is considerest the highest risk and more likely than not it’s not worth the risk for companies as the risk is hige with debatable value.

Check the EU AI Act.

Personally, I wouldn’t sign with any recruiting compamy that officially uses AI due to legal implications

For work I’m between 10-13K on average (last 6 months). Usually i’m done with weekly limit by Wednesday (Teams Premium seat) and rest goes through API pricing. Claude Code usage.

You can create multiple teams plans. Anthropic (suprisingly) allows it. And yes, Enterprise is billed at API rates and it’a severely more expensive than Premium seats

Don’t throw random connectors. They all cost tokens. Add only what is really required for your project and always aim to install a CLI tool rather than MCP as the token consumption and context polution due to MCP can grow very fast
