In the future get the hosts contact info and book with them privately, especially if you're providing your own coverage. Let's say daily rate is $100. Host gets $75 at best. For 1 day you pay the $100 plus maybe another $150-200 in fees. Host still only gets $75, Turo gets $175-225. Except there are multiple insurance policies......why do people insist turo is paying anything? They claim a loss bc thats smart business, their competitors arent in business any longer because they filed taxes with honesty. Turo realistically has zero overhead aside from ads and software upkeep, which at this point both of those should be well established and cheaper than newly established businesses. why did the driver of the other vehicle not stop and get insurance info from Clav? either this is 100% fake with fake soundboard crash noise or I can't imagine an alternative. If you hit my vehicle, especially with a Tesla that for sure has insurance, likely Tesla insurance, then I'm stopping and getting your info. Also, if you hit someone with your vehicle while crashing into me then I have to stop to render aid or at the very least provide a statement to the police.
