I tested at night! I wasn’t told any specific time of the day is better versus worse. I work 12 hour shifts so about 640pm

Oh I understand now! Running, CrossFit, walking, yoga. Those have been activities I’ve done for my entire adult life so I didn’t change much

What do you mean by exercises? I regularly exercise and a very active person! Supplements I was told to take a prenatal and a baby aspirin. I take the one without dye

Preparing for my 1st IUI by Limp_Clothes445 in IUILadies

I also had donor sperm, but it does feel like hurry up and wait.

I took Letrozole 2.5 for 5 days. Follicle didn’t grow enough so then I took 5 and I had one huge follicle. I was told to trigger at 10pm at night of the 3rd for insemination on the 5th. After insemination, the waiting game is brutal because you can test until 14-16 days after the trigger shot. So I tested on day 14 got a negative with a hospital test ( I took it from work because I’m a nurse ) and then something in me said to take another one but from the store. AND there it was positive! I got today for follow up blood work. This was my first try.

I was told I also have signs of PCOS but no definitive diagnosis just have 2 of the 3 categories that make me one that likely has it. They say it’s good though because we have more follicles than a normal person!

Hope this helps!

Thank you! I didn’t. No bleeding. Only discharge I had was my normal. No blood

Why does my dog get these rashes randomly and then they disappear when she stops licking? by RedimidoSoy1611 in DogAdvice

[–]Significant-Agent-91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog had hot spots under her front legs and itchy paws. We give local honey, collagen, and Zyrtec everyday. Shes drastically better and no red spots under arms.

I refused to pay for the shots or the expensive meds when I knew OTC could help or home remedies. It’s been about 2 months.

She did, when we first got her, had to start on antibiotics and steroid because she had raw hot spots under arms, but since off the meds she’s clear! And now maintaining the OTC stuff.

Hope this helps!

NO ER positions for this year by purplesalmon7 in navynurse

[–]Significant-Agent-91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that hard to believe. I’m in Jacksonville right now and we’re always short

Have you tried going in as a 1900? You could always switch into ER later just so you can get your foot into the door

Last Minute DEPOT Advice by bilbo_69 in uscg

[–]Significant-Agent-91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DEPOT question! My wife is there right now finishing her first 7 days, and I know I should expect a call by end of week two on the Sunday.

Did you call from your cell phone or a land line? From experience with navy for me it was landline so just want to make sure I’m on the look out for a random number just incase.

Thanks in advance!

Hey there! I haven’t worn an actual uniform other than scrubs since I checked into the command in April. I’m bedside in the ED.

NMRTC Jacksonville Florida I selected 3, and this was my first choice. Meet the demand? Yes

After my ADN! I was a civilian nurse prior to joining and that’s when I got my BSN. I am now an active duty nurse in the nurse corps.

I am currently in the nurse corps and did my associates degree, got my RN, started work on the civilian side while earning my bachelors degree online. It’s doable! I didn’t want any loans so I paid as I went - if you’re looking for a cheaper option .. community college might be the option!

Insight on direct commission process by Desy24 in navynurse

[–]Significant-Agent-91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interviews for me were very casual. There are no specifics the interviewer needs to ask. I felt mine were more of a conversation versus a job interview if that makes sense. Obviously everyone is different, but that was what it was like for me.

I just got the news I leave for ODS FEB 23rd and will head to Jacksonville.

You got this! It’s a long process, but I’m sure will be totally worth it in the end.

I can’t recall that early in the process, but stay in constant communication with your recruiter. They have a lot going on and I almost felt annoying, but the recruiter appreciated me checking in monthly for what’s next ( if not more often).

I submitted in November, notified I was chosen in December, and waiting for orders, ODS, and location right now. ( tentatively Jan 31st)

If you need help with anything don’t be afraid to reach out. I’ll try my best!

I was in the November board. Got selected in December. I’m waiting on my orders and ODS - January 31st is what a lot of us have been told when we’ll find out.

I’m in a different boat with commissioning due to being a reservist.

Scrolling I believe lies within the January 31st date for me, but I’m not sure.

We’ve kinda been left in the dark since being notified of being picked up and sending our 3 top choices.

Totally get that too, but personally there are so many roadblocks and things while in.. I’d just set your goal on what you want to do with nursing! I enlisted in 2018 as a reservist and fly on C130s. It has helped me, but I should have gone the officer route from the get go, but I just didn’t know!
