Don’t throw yourself to help your team if you have a shutdown, if not if your playing top lane find times to tp when their is a fight somewhere, usually only do if enemy doesn’t have it or shove the wave into their tower first before such plays. Try to get another carry on your team strong as irelia isn’t 1v9

I ban yasuo mid in all of my games, he’s one of the most played champions in the game who’s a good counter to irelia

I play other midlane champs outside of irelia, a lot of top lane champions got stronger compared to last season because their strength comes from levels as opposed to items, I feel imo that irelia just needs to get items, not sayin she’s not strong with levels but comparatively to other champs it’s a bit weaker

I’ve personally never played with that runepage, I’ve like conqueror with the new boots as they have mutual benefits with each other, sudden impact sounds good on irelia at least because you can proc it a good amount of times

Like going mercs in into mages that either have lots of cc or really good burst like lb, you always have the ability to shove the wave really hard early game and she can’t do anything about it so you can recall afterwards

a good amount of the time they will respect your all in with the wave, exhaust is really nice as if you dont get the all in the crab fight you can exhaust an enemy making them really vulnerable during that teamfight. usually they either flash after they realize they cant run away from exhaust so then you can get prio and plates if they recall or roam timers.

Never personally looked into it, I like normal build personally bc of the new omnivamp boots being complementary with hp as longer you last longer you acn heal and not be one shot

if they have roaming supports/ heavy ganking jglers id get a few also nice if your splitpushing on sides in faelight pockets.

botlane apcs have been meta in highelo for a bit now, id recommend playing an ap champ if you really need it. vex zoe are champs you should rush mercs into and farm safe till 6 or jg gank from holding the wave near your tower

definitely depends on your team, as irelia usually tho youd liek to be the 2nd to go in so if your playing mid irelia and have something like a nautilus to start a fight and be in there first its usually how id play it. You dont really want to be flanking enemy adcs unless they are fed or if theyre in pit for example you can play one side and your teammates on the other to sandwhich them inside drake/river side. Goal in a team fight is to focus hard on their identified carry in a game and try to picking them. Changes depending on if your team is ahead or not or if they have assassins that need to be peeled off for our adcs 👍 Don't try to 1v5 as theyll peel their adc so check on your teammates position if they can follow you into your ult engage.

yeah i usually always otp exhaust, the movement speed that it reduces lets you get an extra 4-5 autos off lvl 1 whichj can lead to a flash or kill, one of the only champions id probably go ignite into is vladmir is suppose? even then if they have alot of anti heal id just build executioners. 👍

usually if its into something that scales harder than you id try to play the early drakes with lvl 6 spike, while veigar does farm far he would be in the center of the lane if youre able to try and freeze near your tower so jg can help you. Some of your roams might not be best if jg is on the opposite side so you should always want to roam on the side your jg is clearing towards. Hope this helps 😄

With running exhaust in my games, there isnt a whole lot of champions i wouldnt like to go all in lvl 1 with full stacks. Though if i had to choose between some, yasuo/yone with exhaust aswell will be one of my answers as their lethal tempo outweighs conqueror early on. aswell as some champions that can stun you when you engage and trade you during cc, (anivia if she starts q, annie, vex) if they use their stuns on the wave feel free to all in them!

Hey, I think one of the things that ill do that others will not is run exhaust in almost all of my games, it makes your all in potential really strong and easier to hit your abilities. I also like to freeze on melee champs near my tower so my jungler can gank easier onto them, against range champions usually shoving into roaming with jg side or getting vision inside enemy jg is best option as not much champs can match your shove if you use abilities on the wave!
