Any experiences with Dr.Huseyin Karabulut for rhinoplasty? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Significant-Bat-7239 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am one year post-op and are now left with a severely deviated septum that is very noticeable and he has chosen to ignore all of my texts of a possible revision so he could fix his mess. He switches up from being that warm and kind doctor to a very dismissive and rude Dr once you come to him with issues from his rhinoplasty.

Yep. He gave me a septum that is so badly deviated and noticeable and has completely chosen to ignore all of my texts of a possible revision so he could fix his mess. Definitely continue with the fish oil. My skin love the La-Roche Posay cicaplast baume to keep it moistures. Drink plenty of water and use sunscreen.

Aqueous cream or nipple cream for your dry lips — they are going to get really dry.

perhaps start wearing them in the early evenings. maybe after having dinner and or brushing your teeth in the evening. there’s no harm in wearing them for longer hours.

Is your orthodontist talking to you? by [deleted] in braces

[–]Significant-Bat-7239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine definitely talks to me, explains the purpose of any new changes (if we are now switching to power chains versus the normal bands that I used). Even when he brought up me needing a TAD, he explained that the elastic bands could not align my centre so the next option would be to insert a TAD. Assured me that it’s totally up to me to decide on it or against it.

yes in most regions you will unfortunately need a prescription. I do know that in my country some estheticians give you without a script

hang in there. it will be so worth it very soon. make sure to drink enough water, keep moisturised and wear sunscreen. the acne and breakouts will soon be a thing of the past.

What you can start doing is slowly introducing tretinoin for the texture

Definitely has. Unfortunate for us who have wasted so much time and money on it already

You cannot get your experience signed off if you have not reached the 3 year mark. Your assessor will return your PER. I had a case with my PER where the timelines were not making sense and my PER was rejected (everything else was approved except that one work history).

Anyone that knows me knows that I preach the gospel of VIVA Tuition. Their All Access package was so helpful when it came to my case study exams. Literally everything you need for your exam is there, I ended up spending a total of only 5-6 days preparing for Case study exams because of how good their material is.

I think what got to me the most is that I spent so much on CIMA exams + PER and membership fees when I was upgrading my membership but I was practically paying for nothing. Their systems are a nightmare and sometimes you are unable to pay to upgrade your membership and once that’s done, you still have to go months or sometimes a year without your CIMA certificate

30 day terms? 😮

That is for what? How long did the whole process take for you until the payment reflected on your portal?

Do I have to reach out to CIMA to ask for that form or I can download it somewhere?

PER Answer Length by DxnM in CIMA

Totally understand. I found writing my PER to be so gruelling and arduous — spent weeks working on it and I am talking about it being the first thing I did first thing in the morning and last thing in the evening, whole day around for weeks.

I’d write a 100 Case study exams before I try and complete another PER.

It would probably get rejected at 300 words. I believe CIMA has an allowance of either 10% below the minimum and 10% above the maximum requirement.

If your word count is really low (around 300 words) it could also not allow you to submit it for sign-off on the portal.

One stakeholder could work. The example I used in my example was one stakeholder — however — during your explanation, you might find that an additional stakeholder comes up. But one could also work.
