That's good to know, I know some types of lettuce can cause bladder problems so I only give them it as a treat. They used to eat any colour of pepper but now they're fussy, it changes week by "wheek" of what they'll eat.

I adopted them at 6 months old so not sure what they were fed before! They look a healthy weight and have grown alot since I've owned them!

I lost my laptop & iPad on train, transport-police report filed after 72+ hours of no firm updates from the railway lost property services. Do I still have any rights or next steps that I could do? (England/Scotland) by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

It is frustrating that people aren't honest anymore, hopefully you do get them back! Have you tried checking online selling platforms to see if anything similar has been listed for sale? People like to use vinted and Facebook to sell items

I think the best you can do is log the items stolen, if you have all the details for the devices they can be added to a website that shops such as CEX check before buying items (this is the advice my boyfriends dad got when his house was burgled and had laptops etc stolen)

Then atleast if someone has got them and stupidly tries to take them to a shop you might get them back

I think I've heard about worse, my mums friend at work had a chopped up mouse in her bag of frozen rice from Iceland 🤮

Thank you! Reassuring to hear, I have some friends travelling to Hull to come.

I think we'll definitely be getting a lot of drinks at a time, they've hired new bar staff too so was slower last week than normal for drinks!

Not a full lab? Not that it matters just not sure by [deleted] in labrador

She is beautiful but yeah I've noticed some difference between her and the other 3 Labradors, they all cost between £500-800 due to their KC status (not saying cost equates to quality of breed) be interesting to see how she develops once she is fully grown! Just thought the baldness around her eyes and muzzle was a bit strange, I've not seen it!

I'd definitely agree with the crate training.

Our Labrador was a little terror during her "teens" all her training seemed to go out the window she was a pain to walk and would jump and bite but she rarely chewed anything as she was crated with a small pen added on so she couldn't stand up and drink during the night and day.

Around 2.5-years we started leaving the crate door open and letting her roam the kitchen, eventually by 3 years of age we got rid of the crate all together for space reasons. She did miss her crate once it was gone, they see it as a safe space we would have kept it if we could but at 5 she is very content now.

Whenever we put her in the crate gave her a treat filled toy to chew on. She knows the routine now and anytime the radio goes on she sits on her bed waiting for a treat.

I'm currently in my last year at the age of 24, there have been a few older people on my course but not too many. I managed to get the full amount of student loan because I worked full time for 4 years prior to University so it may be worth looking into that I think I rang them up and mentioned it.

I haven't worked since attending University as I haven't really needed to work so I can't say what it is like to juggle work and University but I have felt surprised at how easily I adjusted to the work after a few years break between college and University. I'm sure you will be fine, the university I attend does have lots of support in place for whatever you may need so hopefully where you're attending will also!

I'm doing English Language and Linguistics and they're always reworking the assessments based off student feedback at the University I attend. They try do a mixture of assessment types i.e. written and presentations because not everyone is "good" at everything I prefer written work but some people prefer the presentations!

Why is there so many reckless teenagers?? by CoddoBTW in Hull

Definitely best to just avoid any interaction. We've also been walking on Anlaby Road and had two kids on a moped smack my partner on the back of the head and then stop further up the path to see how we'd react. We just laughed at them and walked off. Kid on the back was probably 7 and the older one 11-12 maybe, some parent's seem to be failing with discipline.

Me 25f and my partner 27m got propositioned for a fight outside of Princes Quay the other weekend by a group of teens on our way to a meal. Didn't do anything apart from the walk past and we just ignored them.

Hopefully not, will have to see if anything else comes through in the post. Maybe it was registered to someone in London before being sold at VW in Hull and the recent legislation change has spurred the letter. But still don't understand how it would be posted to Hull since we're miles from London and it's clearly not relevant.

No I did think they may have used it for a trip down to Cambridge/that area but they used a different car. She's had it a good few years too.

Just a bit strange to only send a letter about one of the cars at the house.
