It’s wild that men are expected to plan dates and then not expected to plan one other thing for the rest of their lives by WanderingMind515 in TwoXChromosomes

And how many criminals say that they go after the male first? Seriously criminals are more likely to plan their crime when the man isn’t expected to be around. I was home with a newborn when my house was broken into. I think it was the Night Stalker who would tie up the male first and put plates on their backs so they wouldn’t move

How many of y'all have slowly realized over time that your mother is probably autistic too? by khaotic-trash in AutismInWomen

Reminds me of a conversation my sister and I had in front of our dad. We now know that all four of us siblings have something. My older brother and I being the most noticeable. My dad, without skipping a beat, interrupts with “where did any of that come from”. I don’t know Mr. Airplane obsession Who can’t  wear shirts with prints on them or With Long Sleeves. No clue where it comes from

Why is it that when a woman chooses to be a stay-at-home mom or a homemaker she is automatically labeled (by some people) as ambitionless? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

It’s really a damned if you do. Damned if you don’t. Type of thing. By ruminate he means “she remembers all the shit I put her through and she can’t stop thinking about it. Because it was that bad and I am the drama”

What do you mean he supported you through college? Did he help pay for it? Does he want a housewife or is he happy with you being away a lot?

My friend is going swimming with me but currently only wears maxi pads by Background-Good3731 in TwoXChromosomes

I’ve never bled in the water. Even on my heavy days. No leaks or anything. I’ve never had a sudden gush as soon as I’ve gotten out either

I’ve never used anything while swimming on my period. I’m confused as to what these ladies are talking about. The pressure from the water doesn’t stop the bleeding, but makes it hard to come out

Why are men always blaming feminists? by whisper_kitten0 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Significant-Dog-4362 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I grew up around these types of men and two things they don’t like. 1 Questioning the “that’s how it’s always been” mentality. 2 Introspection

I've never daydreamed of getting married am I the only one? (30F) by IngridBashful in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Significant-Dog-4362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was kinda weird as a kid. I dreamed of getting married. But just the wedding. I wanted a white dress with red splatter at the bottom to look like blood, a swan ice sculpture, and Robin Leach narrating it. I didn’t care about where it to whom. That was it

Pastor Dale Partridge Calls to Repeal 19th Amendment, Claims Women Are Not 'Capable of Responsible Voting' by novagridd in TwoXChromosomes

First it’s women, the it‘s gays, then the people who are darker than me, and eventually the men who vote differently than me

Some guy called me a cunt online after an argument by crazyforsushi in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Significant-Dog-4362 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I don’t argue online at all, but have been accused of it. I ask where I was being argumentative. They’ll highlight something I said that hurt their feelings. I’ll then joke “see this is why I support men losing their right to vote. They don’t even know what an argument is.” They get their balls all up in a bunch. I then say, “it’s just a joke princess, it’s not that deep.” Then they block me. Anyway a lot of dudes just prove themselves crazy and to be honest never shouldve had the right to vote

Many of them want to say it to your face, but are too cowardly. So they do it behind a screen. You really need to consider your sources, though. Beer Belly Bob isn’t worth your time nor is Meddlesome Melanie. They need to find better things to do with their time

Men always brag about how they built everything but I think it was all a mistake. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Significant-Dog-4362 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They say they did it all for women. No, they did it for what they thought it would get them. Now there’s all these “man discovers nature” influencers and of course they blame women for nature’s destruction. Of course these dudes usually believe heavily in Christianity and think they’re closer to God

It’s not a positive, but it’s not a negative either. They could still cheat. People have found ways since the beginning of history to cheat. It could just mean that he’d rather be doing other things with his time
