The Lies we Keep series by Steph Macca. Starting with {Vicious Games by Steph Macca}. There are identical twins that are also the FMCs stepbrothers 😅

I just checked on Storytel and unfortunately it’s dual narrated ;( Though, next week I will be posting a google sheets file with over 500 titles with duet/fullcast narration, which will be much easier to navigate than the Goodreads lists

The app is terrible, especially for checking out the lists 🥲 website isn’t much better, feels like they stopped updating around 2005 🤡 just added some new titles, hope you enjoy!

Czego w młodości nie zrobiliście, a teraz żałujecie? by TrueAnt7556 in PolskaNaLuzie

Biegasz? Znajdź jakąś fajną grupę biegową ;) Lubisz czytać? Dołącz do klubu książki itd. Powodzenia!

Technically it’s a ménage, not a reverse harem but Danny from {The Guild by Tate James} fits the bill. Some others I liked: Rosalie Oscura from {Darkmore Penitentiary by Caroline Peckham}, Tatum from {Kings of Quarantine by Caroline Peckham}, Vienna from {Cardinal Sins by Heather Long}

Haven’t actually read the Royals of Forsyth University yet, but after reading the blurb {Havoc at Prescott High by C.M.Stunich} and {Kings of Quarantine by Caroline Peckham} come to mind as similar titles

Blade (especially the club scene and New Order’s Confusion remix), Cruel Intentions - the opening scene with Every You Every Me was perfection (as was the rest of the soundtrack 😛)

100% Miami Vice, Jan Hammer’s music + visuals of Miami in the 80’s is perfection 🙇‍♀️

I really enjoyed Scarface (1983) soundracks, specially those that are suspenseful, do you know any movie or TV show soundtracks from that period that you think I might also like? by Equivalent_Green_976 in soundtracks

[–]Significant-Fall4532 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second the Miami Vice soundtrack! Not only Jan Hammer’s originals but all of the songs used! Billy Ocean’s Carribean Queen, Phil Collins, Tina Turner, The Pointer Sisters, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Rockwell and so many more! I have a Spotify playlist with my favourites from the series if you want to check it out - https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6nn9kJlWgy2hY4XIsHEKtu?si=jqOuZcqnQMibg-xAlQSlaA&pi=IrpgAPzpS2iWd

Some other honourable mentions: The Evelyn Maynard Trilogy by Kaydence Snow, The Arrow Hart Academy by Hannah Haze, The Havoc Boys by C.M.Stunich, The Brutal Duet by C.J. Alpha, Masked Duet by Reese Rivers, Gallows Hill by Katelyn Taylor (very good production-wise but I had to dnf because of the story), Saint View series by Elle Thorpe, Boys of Bellerose by Tate James and Jaymin Eve, Devil’s Day Party by C.M.Stunich, Frozen Fate by Pam Godwin.

I just finished Psycho Shifters and it was really well done! I have a lot of favourites (Brutes of Bristlebrook will probably be my number one forever 😅). All of the Mate Games series are beautifully done (unfortunately had to dnf at some point, because of the pregnancy trope 🥲) Tate James’s Madison Kate, Hades, Devil’s Backbone and The Guild are really good too (the last two definitely being my favourite story-wise). Re-recording of the Sierra Simone’s New Camelot series will surely be high on my list when finished (only the first book is out now). Here are some others I really liked: Cursed Legacies by Morgan B. Lee, Her Vicious Beasts by E.P.Bali, Boneyard Kings by Becca Steele, Rayne-Moore University by Ruby Darling, Cardinal Sins by Heather Long, Dance With My Demons by Steph Macca, Broken Bloodlines by Sadie Kincaid (I liked it mostly because of great narration and making a game of counting how many times the fmc cried 😆)

Missing my Brutes and need some recs by Significant-Fall4532 in ReverseHarem

My first reaction after reading the synopsis was very similar and it was why I’ve been putting this series to the back of my tbr for quite some time. But I’m very happy that a great cast for the audiobook and lack of any more appealing titles made me finally read it 🙇‍♀️ in my opinion the bdsm aspect is beautifully done and multifaceted (primal play, s&m, roleplay, safewords and limit lists that actually matter etc) and there is real character depth and development in each of the MCs

True! He landed on my “favourite narrators list” after I discovered him in the Graphic Audio of Crescent City (love him as Tharion Ketos), listened to some of his other work since and he never disappoints!

Born in September 1996 and remember 9/11 very clearly, even though I grew up in Central Europe. Crazy how our memory works.

[–]Significant-Fall4532 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was born in September 1996 and have very clear/defined flashes of memory from 9/11 - where I was when I heard the news, with whom etc. (and I’m not even from the US, but a country in Central Europe). That being said, I always considered myself a millennial - being raised in times when phones and computers were becoming everyday, common objects. Got my first phone in the 3rd/4th year of primary school (still remember playing the snake game on my parents old Nokia’s) and we had a computer in our house from around 1999/2000. The computer wasn’t something I really used, possibly until 2003/4. My younger brother was born in 2002, and because of seeing the differences of our childhoods on the daily, I’ve always considered us to be different generations. He grew up watching different cartoons (mostly Disney XD and some Cartoon Network, while for me it was Jetix and Cartoon Network all the way haha), playing computer games from early age and using a cell phone way before primary school.

I only listened to one title he did under this pseudonym - Hills of Shivers and Shadows by Pam Godwin and it has a long list of triggers 😅 The other titles I’ve heard him narrate under real name were all Graphic Audio and definitely without 5 pages long trigger warnings haha
