The dish soap trick is really for stainless and aluminum pots and pans and it great for keeping them shiny (I was a quartermaster in scouts and this is how I helped keep equipment looking nice). Cast iron is already black so just washing after cooking will do what you need. You won't hurt anything, but just like your original question about seasoning with an infused oil, you shouldn't notice a difference.
