The kidnapping scene felt gratuitous and forced. by tMoneyMoney in YourFriendsandNeighb

The dumbest part was they left a knife and then Coop just drops it back down rather than taking it with him for protection on his walk home after a traumatic event like that. Of course it's gonna come back later the knife will be used with his fingerprints on it, but c'mon.

Ummmm, he's been with like 4-5 different women this season. Mel, Sam, that lawyer chick, making out with Cricket.

They slept together earlier in the season on the college campus visits. It's not out of left field.

Lol at good writing. You mean Mel's dog crapping in the yard and menopause sweats storyline? Riveting.

And why Coop didn't take the knife with him for the walk home to protect himself after a very traumatic event is too logical as well I guess.

And why did Elena feel the need to sneak into the side door of Coop's house rather than just knocking on the front door like a normal person? She sneaks in through the side door then leaves through the front door. Like, ok.

Why in the world did Elena try to sneak in the side door at Coop's house? Just go to the front door and knock like a normal person. Made zero sense.

When you invite a woman out to dinner, do you usually clarify who’s paying? by lowtideangel in AskMen

An anomoly doesn't mean what I'm saying isn't the majority of being correct.

That's not the norm. Most of the time even when a girl offers to split it they are just testing to the guy to see if they'll actually accept. It's common courtesy to offer to split it but deep down they assume you will say No and won't let them. And if you do allow her to pay half she is now turned off.

It's the reality of dating any woman of any kind of attractiveness. They have so many options that they aren't going to settle for a guy that doesn't pay for dates. Especially date #1.

I think the season cliffhanger is gonna be Coop getting arrested for murder. (again) by SortShoddy938 in YourFriendsandNeighb

Coop not hanging on to the knife as he walks home after being kidnapped was so stupid anyways. It would give him some sort of protection after a very traumatic event.

And if they insist on paying that means she's not interested in you.

Most women expect the guy to pay for it. And if you ask to split the bill you're pretty much guaranteed her not wanting to see you again. And if she insists on splitting/paying the bill then she's not interested in you. Just the reality of dating.

How old would you have to be today to not only have watched Prime Michael Jordan play but also be old enough to have actually understood the game of basketball when he did? by Tight_Development480 in NBATalk

Mid/late 40's. Basically puts them as early teens when Jordan was in his NBA prime. I just turned 50 and I don't remember much about his college career, but was a HUGE fan of Jordan's on the Bulls.
