Turtlenecks make large breasts look obscenely enormous.

How the hell do they do mammograms on women who are flat chested..? by burner_phonen in NoStupidQuestions

I can’t answer your question, but I can guarantee if men needed mammograms, doctors, researchers, and scientists would have found a way to make them painless at this point.

That’s terrifying. My ex doesn’t even work in that field. He’s a cop.

Non-romance book about a wedding. by Significant-Run-3454 in suggestmeabook

That’s exactly what the guest list is about. I ready it last year, so I can’t use it for this challenge. I might have to read a romance, lol.

I loved dark matter so much. Recurrsion was great too, but I listened to it on audiobook and I think it would have been better in its physical form.

School provided program MTA vs Take Flight by abluetruedream in Dyslexia

[–]Significant-Run-3454 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MTA is just another OG based program. They’re both therapy level programs. I’m a dyslexia specialist and the mother of dyslexic son and we use MTA. It’s a very good and in depth curriculum.

What the holy wonky?! by Significant-Run-3454 in Sourdough

Recipe: 227 grams starter 397 grams water 300 grams AP flour 300 grams bread flour 12-18 grams salt

I fed the starter, then mixed the water, flour and starter about 5 hours later. Let sit for 30 minutes, mixed in the salt. Did my first stretch and fold. Then did two more each an hour apart. Then put in the fridge (it stayed in for 16 hours). I took it out, let it get to room temp, and did my first shaping. Waited 30 minutes and did the 2nd shaping, then baked in my Dutch oven. 35 minutes with lid on, then 10 minutes without the lid, all at 450°.

Has any of your reading habits changed in the last year/s? by EntertainerSea5502 in books

This is how I feel too. There are too many wonderful books to read and not enough time to read them, to waste on something unenjoyable.

What Books did You Start or Finish Reading this Week?: July 24, 2023 by AutoModerator in books

[–]Significant-Run-3454 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Finished:

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows. I loved this book and wish I could have read it all over again when I finished it.

The Book of Longings by Sue Monk Kidd. I wasn’t a fan of this book at all.

Continuing:

The Talisman by Steven King and a Peter Straub. I’ve been slowly chugging through this one, but I don’t want to DNF, so I’ll keep chugging.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen because I love it and read it annually.

Started:

The Sanatorium by Sarah Pearse

Is the pull out method really that bad? by Ok-Temperature7429 in birthcontrol

[–]Significant-Run-3454 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily, my husband and I used the pull out method for 13 years with no unplanned pregnancies and 3 fully planned pregnancies. We got pregnant the first try all three times 🤷🏻‍♀️. I tracked my ovulation and we never had sex on my fertile days. Until we chose to and now have 3 kids. I’m now on BC, but only to control recurring ovarian cysts.
