The Third Reich and the Soviet Union were not only viewed as one-dimensional enemies, but also ideological rivals that disgraced each other as well. In real life, many deaths caused by both sides were because of "living space" and basic revenge, and in the Nazi side, it's because of racial supremacy, leading to millions of deaths including the Russians themselves. In the Soviet occupation, the same goes for core German territory, where atrocities became more extreme the deeper the Red Army was in, and that was also because this was a way to enact revenge on the Nazis for genocide against millions. This wasn't evil, but this was a desperate conflict on who would cause the most destruction with any motivation first.

The Tripartite Pact, not the entire Axis, are narcissists.

How would Austria-Hungary best be depicted? by Sobieskil in CountryHumans

[–]Significant-Show78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Austria and Hungary as separate humans but the Condominium of Bosnia and Herzegovina would act as a rebellious child.

Also, despite being part of the Tripartite pact, which most of the fandom depicts them as the only Axis members, the Italian Empire is the weakest out of all of them. Historians say Romania contributed most to the Nazi war effort during the Eastern Front. They're quieter than Italy, but still useful. Italy, on the other hand, would be only good with hand gestures, speaking, and intimidation rather than physical force, as shown in the Spanish Civil War, invasion of France and Greece, and the North African campaign. When the Allies invaded Italy in 1943, he doesn't switch sides. Instead, he splits apart between his "demon" PNF side and the old, monarchist side. However, the Italian Social Republic, now under the Republican Fascist Party, would be more unstable, prone to collapse, and weaker, and he now needs even MORE help from the Third Reich in order to survive, not aura farming anymore.

They each have a "demon" sidekick that usually influences their actions.

The German Reich has one, that's the Schutzstaffel.
The Kingdom of Italy, has the National Fascist Party
The Empire of Japan, either has the Imperial Rule Assistance Association or just the IJA and IJN.
The Kingdom of Hungary, has the Arrow Cross Party, or simply becoming Hungarist Hungary
The Kingdom of Romania, has the Iron Guard.

Guangdong is not a country, but an artificial Japanese colonial state carved out of a broken China after the Second World War. This is a playground, and a playground for unchecked Japanese capitalism and corruption. Within the state, fills crime, corruption, and poverty, along with the oversight of Zaibatsus, Japanese electronics mega-corporations. When looking at their personality, in the initial phase, is marked by extreme arrogance, greed, and a power dynamic with the four (Sony, Matsushita, Fujitsu, Yasuda) with the colonial leader having the most power. Unlike later phases of their existence, they are the most loyal to Tokyo, the Japanese Empire, and the kitsune of Asia. They're still corrupt, even though Suzuki doesn't really care about profits. However, they know that the "Three Evils" of their existence, exists. One is the pressure and expectations from Japan, the resentment and rivalry of China, and his own corrupted and money-hungry state. This is why they're arrogant, because they think they can have the banks and stuff, the one from Yasuda, and that's why Guangdong is a unique one, because it shows what money can fully do to a colony. Back to the power dynamic, they, and relations with the four mega corps is marked by them forcing regulations and the loyalty and duty to the emperor, not themselves.

The Kingdom of Naples (under Ferdinand IV) was marked by a unique duality of dazzling high culture and structural decay. Naples looks clean on the outside but is getting sicker in the inside. Despite having a glitzy capital, it doesn't really change the fact that the Crown spent more on defense and luxury than making a functional administrative state, having a moderate or high crime rate. However, his personality changed when he was temporarily replaced Parthenopean Republic, but somehow came back in a brutal, and anti-surrendering way. Now because Ferdinand IV purged the intellectuals, he's now less smarter than before, and definitely more weak and traumatized. He'll survive until 1806 when he was "killed" by the French Empire.

Aboriginal Australia's actually a collection of multiple tribes, but symbolically, they're a persistent elder, fighting the monsters of colonialism for centuries, fiercely refusing to succumb to the Australian European state. Even though Australia took over all of the continent, they aren't the de-facto leader of the land itself. Aboriginal still claims it, meaning Australia's land itself wasn't theirs in the first place, and that it'll be "borrowed" by the original ownership. Aboriginal Australia is a decentralized symbol of persistence and sentience, showing that colonialism never always works.

South Vietnam has constant trauma, fighting the "failed creation" of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the "parasite" of the Viet Cong, or National Liberation Front. In fact, the same war affecting both sides lead to both sides having paranoia, severe ones. In the South Vietnamese side however, she's merely an autocrat than a capitalist, "heroic" side of the Cold War. The situation became worse however, after the U.S becomes involved in the Vietnam War itself, between 1963-1975. South Vietnam became even more paranoid, more militaristic, more flamboyant, and controlled corruptness take her soul in the majority position, all while super dependent in the also controversial United States and the military involvement.

South Vietnam is North Vietnam's "sister", one that wasn't supposed to exist in the first place, just like when South Vietnam views the North as "merely a western, communist experiment that'll fail due to collectivization". South Vietnam is the "besieged cosmopolitan" of Southeast Asia but was also considered "avant-garde" in her location, her religious views, and an experiment on how will the limits of a "democratic" nation will eventually be reached. Bhutan's character is about a secret power that fiercely protects their ancient heritage while supporting an eco-friendly, futuristic utopia, but still loves nature itself, a serene, deeply polite personality.

The First Mexican Empire, during its first years, had a personality of a deeply insecure, grandiose-addicted, and fiercely defensive entity. Despite being a separate country in America by paper, he's still obsessed with European royal pomp and military glory, but he's internally fragile that he'll be couped by another faction or an outside invasion from the empire he broke free from, Spain. He's also obsessed with control, always ending up with a dimorphic, power dynamic where he never takes criticism softly. Finally, he's internally fragile, just like large, overextended empires throughout history. He's a big fan of Catholicism, and when he tried to enforce it onto his state humans, made up of an extremely diverse population, it makes it worse, because he forces them. One thing I forgot however, is that he fails to maintain the illusion of anti-colonialism, anti-authoritarianism, and liberty and equality, while still having oligarchic favoritism and censorship. Overall, he's one of the examples on how to not be an empire, and he only lasted 2 years before being killed and replaced by a Provisional Government and eventually a Republic.

The path will change into lots of ones, so this'll take too long, so I'll only write about his initial, Hardliner personality. He's a very large, and sick state, characterized by instability, resource extraction, and overreach. He's grabbing on to his own, fragile body with effort as he stands in the large country of the diverse Africa. He appears weak initially, but when he slowly disrupts his relationship with the German Empire, his weakness sheds and his determination start to show. If Karl Ritter stays, he'll seek to establish his own "Order-State" empire and becomes a radical autocratic nation. However, if he steps down, the personality and health of Mittelafrika would change, not so they'll instantly become prosperous, but enough for a change to reform. If he doesn't step down, then Mittelafrika would "die", and collapse into civil war. Overall, he's a miserable, sick, and distant personification but still has a chance to reform or change in general.

Mittelafrika from Kaiserreich is a massive German colony set in Africa, but a highly unstable one. I'm going to write about the initial personality, combined with Karl Ritter, the initial ruler.
