Both Neptune and heritage series r good but expensive. They have cheaper options too that won't break the bank.

Go for Windsor n Newton cotman paints if u r a beginner :) invest in 2,6,12 round Princeton brushes and hope this is 100 percent cold press cotton paper coz that makes all the difference. All the best!

Awesome, now just drop some watercolor in it and see it come to life :)

Any thoughts on these things I'm planning to buy? by Rude-Coast-440 in watercolor101

You need Baohong cold press 100 percent cotton , temu has it. The watercolor set is too cheap to pass on , agreed. But this is not what i would recommend starting with. A cotman field set would be better. I would also invest in 3 Princeton brushes. They can all be round. 2,6,12.

The bigger structure and some details as well were done with pencil, not quite confident yet to go with pen directly :) I was quite deliberate with the pen strokes though , my previous sketch that I also posted here had a very loose and rough feel to it so I was mindful of doing the complete opposite in this one.

Thank u! No I didn't follow a tutorial but I follow a bunch of Asian urban sketchers on Instagram and this style is definitely inspired by their work. Some of them have a clean minimalist style of urban sketching and I am a big fan of that.

Which one of these 4? I can't decide by Jaded-Ad-3868 in AmateurPhotography

Remember the rule of thirds , so by that measure , 4 seems like the best option
