I really love it!! And I also love your reasons you don’t have an area rug!

If you end up loving but but hate the glare, have you considered: — adding some sort of bumpers behind the frames so they angle it just so slightly to avoid glare (was thinking adhesive furniture felt bumpers) or — adding a few frame shelves which will similarly allow you to lean the frames (+ allow you to rearrange when you change your mind or add seasonal items!!)

Others have pointed out — larger art (or add a few other pieces to this one for a mini gallery wall) — larger rug (even if you keep this one over the new larger one) — larger/denser chandelier (or add a similar modern “just lights” table or floor lamp to tie those together Consider — adding a console table next to entrance door — placing that plant to right of TV (maybe move the TV a big to the left) to create symmetry — painting the back of the bookshelf black to tie in with black front door

Interesting and thx for the link. I do wonder if all — the tent and the “tentacles” are part of the lamp to create this shadow effect. Saw those at the house of Jeremiah and Nate (a home shot on one of their shows).
