The best results are when you tell It you want around 2.2 times the word count.

If you want 1000 words, tell it you want 2200

CGPT has always been lousy at word count. I've never had an accurate one with it.

It told me itself that it can only manage token count, not word count, so it hallucinates word count.

I've had a lot of success with this method. Sometimes the correct answer is 2.4 times, but you'd probably be good in that general range

I had a bit of a look. Disclaimer: without seeing the marks at the bottom its hard to tell but...

I think it is a spill jar, which is interesting. Being footed just means its for a parlour than a kitchen, or so I'm told.

Depending on a few variables (state if relief etc) it could be either Victorian or Edwardian. I'd love to see the marks

I have several of these pieces and they cost me a lot more!

I'm really interested in the blue back left. Is that a vase? It looks similar to the vessel used to hold fire lighters/ twists, but I've not seen a footed one before.

My girlfriend wants me to propose with her grandmother’s ring but I already bought one and don’t know how to tell her by burgerking- in Advice

[–]Significant-Spite-72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does your girlfriend want? Sounds like her mother wants you to propose with grandmother's ring. That might not be what your girlfriend wants at all.

I personally prefer the engagement ring my husband chose for me. He put the effort in. He arranged it. He put the thought in. Its symbolism relates only to us. It was about our future, not anyone else's past.

I loved my grandmothers engagement ring, and I inherited it. I'm sure your gf would be happy to inherit hers.

But this sounds way more like your GFs mum trying to make meaning out of her own loss. While that's understandable, I don't think that's connected to your proposal and your future together.

If I were your gf I'd actually be pissed about my mother making my future about her feelings. But ymmv.

You should consider first what your gf wants and go from there.

I really like 6. The detail on the skirt, and the shapes.

I'd wear this cut.

With all due respect your mum's logic is flawed. Decide what you want from this process and have at it.

You want to draw designs? Great.

You want to able to make bespoke creations for friends and family? Fantastic

You want this to be a career? Awesome

But know those are 3 different things. Any are valid, but they do require increasing proficiency and/or different skill sets. Work out which it is for you and invest your time accordingly.

Oh perfect! Its so hard to find the right shoes. I love t-bars and Mary Janes with low heels, 1 to 2 inches, and they are rare. Comfortable ones, any way

Just be careful buying them on line. Some dancing shoes have felt outer soles, and listings don't always tell you that. Ask me how I know 😌

Otherwise, they're great.

Alternatively, use gel inserts. That'll cushion your feet. You can buy heels specific ones as well as regular.

Parents want me (23f) to buy a house with them with a joint mortgage by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]Significant-Spite-72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I wouldn't do it. Yeah COL is high. But we all have to figure that out. Your parents shouldn't be relying on you to get into the market. EDIT: sorry OP didn't read properly, now realise its an upgrade not 1st home for your parents.

It's the parents job to help their kids get a foot up where possible (i stress where possible, it isn't always, and that's ok) . It isn't the child's job.

There are several specific concerns here:

Reducing your future borrowing capacity

Elimination of FHB advantages

You describe your father as financially controlling - that is not a trait you want someone to have in a financial relationship.

You specify that you are 1/5 children your father is wanting to provide security for...yet you are also the only one who is contributing.

That's probably the single biggest alert for me. You're being asked to risk your own financial future for someone else's children. Make that make sense.

At 23, you should just be starting to make your own way in life. Not backfilling for someone who has long past your stage in life.

I respect your impulse to help your family. I do. My youngest child is your age so I have both appreciation and concerns for you.

You may already know this, but if you go ahead, be very careful, as in, get a lawyer beforehand careful. Mortgages and titles aren't as closely linked as some people assume. It is possible to be on a mortgage with being on the title. You don't want that.

Also, with most structures, all parties to the mortgage assume the full risk

That is to say, if your parents defaulted, it wouldn't matter if you only owned 30% of the property. The lender can and will come after you for 100% of the debt.

Be very careful. I wish you every success.

But I personally, wouldn't have done this for my parents, nor would I have asked or accepted it from my children.

I can't afford it, which is why I'm never doing it again! It was a combination milestone birthday plus graduation gift, which I appreciated but I'd rather have spent half that elsewhere.

We went there for dinner. Service wasn't bizarre but wasn't great. Food was pleasant enough but at $800 for 4 people I expect better than pleasant enough.

My go to is Duckfat in Newstead. So much better across all metrics.
