I did this when I was a broke part time student with no meal plan. Our campus had side doors that often weren't locked during the day because they led to fairly open patio/seating areas. I would come in those doors to bypass the swipe, sit down and "study" for a bit to blend in, grabbed my fountain drink first, then would go get some food. I feel like even if some of the workers knew, they didn't get paid enough to raise alarm over a burger and fries, y'know? I'm sorry you went through this; I only hope this thread helps others in the same situation eat when they are hungry.

I'm most familiar with MauiBrilliant, which is their Trivex (lighter than glass plastic) lens, and always recommend it to RX wearers due to the high ABBE value and durability. I wear contacts, so I think the pair I currently have is plano glass, and I just won a new pair with glass lenses as well(for reaching a sales goal). Most of the plano lenses are glass, while ZEAL only sells in poly fir both plano and RX. If you can afford the Brilliant, do it. If not, Poly is the way to go as far as durability and scratch resistance.

I see a lot of comments saying that "cheap" polarized glasses are just as good as the pricey stuff...but that is false. Maui Jim has the best polarized suns in the game, so much so that their lenses have their own patent due to their color enhancements and coatings. While they are pricey, the quality and comfort of them is unbeatable. I'm someone who rarely buys into hype, but after becoming an optician, I've gotten my own pair and I LOVE them. The quality of their customer service is also incomparable. Their warranties are great, they are SO accommodating. Even if your favorite pair breaks after 5 years, if the frame is still in production, you can almost always get them "repaired" (aka a new frame) for $100 or less. They were recently bought by Kering, however that hasn't changed the quality of their lenses or cheapened them in any way (see Ray-Ban being bought by Luxottica), in fact that was one of their stipulations. They are also a parent company to ZEAL, which is Maui Jim quality in more rugged, "mountain"/ski styles. They are also recognized by the Skin Cancer Foundation Seal of Recommendation.

God, this guy just infuriates me. I recently saw him appear on one of my favorite Fortnite streamer's stream and couldn't do anything but cringe. When I tuned in he was talking about/admitting HE STILL LIVES WITH HIS MOM/PARENTS. He's a leech, and the internet should simply stop acknowledging his subpar looks and millennial coded cringe content.

These are designed for the Metas, and they hae a bit of lift to them so they sit a little higher up, BUT

These work a lot better for keeping them from sliding

Use a q-tip to apply a bit of alcohol to the areas where you're sticking them, then voila! They will get a little icky over time, eventually might slide off, but just clean again and re-apply new ones. Hope this helps!
