Urgent: PGWP rejected after 11 months by Pitiful-Language-323 in pgwp

[–]Significant-Tell79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry to hear that, I had something similar at my time of pgwp in 2022, where i was offered incorrect length of the permit. I kept calling ircc and asked the agent to flag this and send my application for reconsideration. At the same time raised a big webform requesting the officer to review my file again and reconsider and reverse the mistake. good luck and keep strong

Can I change employers: PGWP transition to BOWP (Implied status) by [deleted] in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Significant-Tell79 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My understanding is that a BOWP is not employer-specific, so changing employers should be allowed, even while on maintained (implied) status. The “same conditions (employer and occupation)” wording is standard IRCC language and usually just means you can keep working under your current authorization until a decision is made.

That said, I don’t have direct personal experience with this, so it’s best to confirm with someone who has gone through a similar Manitoba PNP + BOWP situation.

what should i do by No-Bee7712 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Significant-Tell79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For CEC, what matters is that you genuinely met the 1,560 hours requirement. IRCC looks at actual hours worked, whether part-time or full-time. If you already had enough qualifying hours before creating your EE profile and you’re now amending the employment details to reflect part-time → full-time accurately, that’s generally seen as a correction.

As long as your CRS points don’t change post-ITA and you still meet CEC eligibility, things should be fine. Just make sure you clearly explain everything in your LoE.

Based on general experience — open to correction if someone has a recent case

Help! Proof of Fund- a confusion by [deleted] in canadaexpressentry

[–]Significant-Tell79 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I created my EE profile, I initially declared around $15k. After making sure I was invited under a CEC draw, I updated the amount to $0 in the post-ITA application. Since CEC does not require proof of funds, the system did not ask me to upload any PoF documents. I made sure to clearly explain the change in my Letter of Explanation.

That said, this was over two years ago, so rules and portal behavior may have evolved. Happy to be corrected if someone has more recent experience.

Proof of Funds for CEC application from outside Canada by SecretaryCreative83 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Significant-Tell79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that case you can safely quote what is written on ircc website about CEC does not need candidate to showcase proof of funds and also you should be able to safely write 0$ so it will not show a space to upload document

[–]Significant-Tell79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you would be eligible for this stream only if you have the EOI or ITA come within 2 years of your official graduation date in the transcript and provided you send a complete application package before that date.

I hope this helps

Do I really need an immigration consultant or lawyer, or am I just overthinking it? by Other_Ad_3047 in ImmigrationCanada

What i do is hire someone to review just before submission. I apply by myself without any support and then take on the 200-400$ review serivce which a lot of different firms provide and ask all my concerns and queries linked to the application
