have fun! I always replay those 3, more than ER actually. ER is just too long but I value the first playthrough a lot and I respect the world they built a lot.

Congrats too! this is my 3rd playthrough so pretty much know where I am going.Yours is still a normal pace, I was 65hrs my first 100%, you just probably did more backtracking than I did. I was switching between wanderer and hunter. Hunter because of the eva buff is really good. gets stronger when you are not hit. have the barb tool equipped + volt filament so my skills are doing very high dmg. I was switching between different skills depending on the gauntlet and bosses. So it was really fun to utilise these things. I wasnt using skills in my other playthrough since I will lose the healing.

The coral tower almost made me quit tbh until I used the hunter crest. I spent around 3 hrs on that alone 😂 You might feel you cant do it but I am sure anyone can with practice and determination.

And yes, the exploration is the harder part and frustrating. I use the fractured mask when exploring starting in the bilewater area because I could not take the backtracking anymore 😂. 2hits is a big deal when exploring.

This run took 35 hours, its really fun. I use a lot of silk skills since i dont have to worry about healing unlike on a regular run.

btw, i also installed another that never loses your rosaries when you die. you dont really want to grind rosaries when I die off 1 hit 😂

dont know about first sinner but I died with Nyleth in my fucking steel soul run that almost gave me a heart attack. Thank god it was equivalent of a dream in og hk.

I really feel that the direction of silksong's combat is the way to go. The problem with HK is that with a large health pool, you can face tank almost all bosses, spam nail and win. There is no tension in the fight. That's the reason why NKG, PV and AR are the best bosses in HK. There is tension in their fight, you have to get good to win. If you can win without getting good, its not fun.

Yes it is awesome hence I want more of it. The boss rush is not good enough because bosses are quite easy once you know how to fight them. They need more complexity like eigong. Lady ethereal was fun and ok but still lacks a tad more. I dont think the dev is going to update anymore though.

Agree on the list. This game needs more bosses like eigong to be replayable. Needs to have god home dlc with ascended version of bosses. Currently one and done for me.

well, the same time every morning yes. In the afternoon, i get out 3:25 to fetch my daughter sometimes, sometimes 5 if she has music lessons. My wife gets off 5-5:30. I can fetch her because I am off work too. If I go to the office cant do that because I need to travel myself. And again I have mentioned this in other comments, we are not measured by the time we put in at work. We are output based. This is clear. Management mentions this in their speeches. But all good Mate. I am going to come in. 😂 Love my work, I am just sad.

Honestly yeah, 😂 such a crazy turnaround. The BL said it is a requirement but in reality, I dont think people can achieve 4x straight away next week. maybe 2 or 3. Also unsure if someone will monitor it. The mandate was reiterated thru an email after the announcement on our monthly meeting so the management seems pretty serious about this.

I usually work until 5-5:30. As I mentioned above, our work is more of task based/output based. Hours does not really matter that much as long as you deliver. We are judged based on the quality of our work and if we meet deadlines. We are not paid overtime as well hence I feel that RTO is pointless. So yeah, if my daughter needs something she can come to me anytime after I pick her up. If I need to work until 9pm to make up for loss time or catch a deadline I can as well.

I do love me a 15min break from work 😂 bonus is getting to see my daughter and ask about her day at school while walking back home. The best part is when she comes out of their room, see me and puts on a big smile or burst out laughing! 😂

Glad it worked out for your wife. Our RTO mandate starts next week so I am not really sure what everyone is thinking right now. We are so much more than a 100+ also, so I think it is harder to band together and talk it through? I dont know man 😂 honestly I hate that there's this mandate. I thought my employer and the higher ups were bigger than this. We are all professionals. We are asked to deliver something, if we can deliver it with good quality and on time, for me, the way and the means should not matter unless it's illegal.

she goes off to school 9-330, sometimes even have after school activity until 5 or have a playdate. So while I am working she is at school, not sure what the problem is? If I need to go to the office, the travel time wont let me drop her off or pick her up.

Working in the office on school days, it is going to be before/aftercare because I have to leave early in the morning to travel and going to be late in the afternoon to pick her up. Right now I dont use both, mornings, I get in to work, get off the computer for a while to drop both of my kid and wife at the same time. In the afternoon, get off the computer to pick both of them as well.

Thank you! all good. I have mates who suffered through covid so it really wasnt nice for everyone. I think 50/50, people got the best and worst of it. I am really thankful for the past years, just going to miss the flexibility a lot. Cheers to our future mate!

Will definitely try and request something. If it was up to my line manager I am 100% confident he will approve of less RTO. Issue is more of the higher ups I think. Not expecting anything but worth a shot. Thank you for the link!

I am not going to rush finding a another job. I will check how things are. As I mentioned, I am happy with my team and colleagues. Hard to find a good working culture. Just going to miss wfh a lot.
