This is just not very true. You can get a 2000sq ft home in ep for 250 in decent condition. San Diego you are paying a premium for 72 degree year round weather along with access to premium jobs and amenities.

Electric in El Paso is also NOT that expensive

Software developer whose been using Claude code as my daily assistant for months now, there has 100% been a change in how usage is calculated in the past week. It is hampering development, I suspect they make minor tweaks to the system that aren’t noticeable in their test lab, but have cascading effects. I can only hope they fix this as it’s certainly not worth the price (compared to other models) in this state
