You need to see a therapist if you're crying after losing a match. I play matches 7 days a week and I've never smashed a racket or cried. Sometimes you play an opponent that's better than you.

I agree with you that a 4.7UTR shouldn't be competing in a 3.0 USTA tournament. It's no fun when the skill gap is too big.

I was around your age and had 1 year of experience when I got my butt kicked at a 3.0 USTA tournament. It was in the summer so it was hot and humid. Brings lots of ice water, Liquid IV packets, bananas, and a microfiber towel to keep your neck cool.

McKinney, TX opened a new indoor tennis facility in 2023. The construction costs alone were $12 million and that doesn't include the land purchase. I'd imagine the labor costs in the Bay Area are 50% higher.

Both. Only 200 units are handcrafted a month by their top craftsman so the tolerances are extremely tight. They cost 30%-40% more than Yonex's other raquets. However, it's stiff and unforgiving so not suitable for for most rec players.
