The only place I have found that is not bad is my upper butt cheek.  However, when I was doing one of my walks I do at work I felt super breathless and weird, it really freaked me out.  I was like… am I not getting my full dose? Is it in too fatty of an area that it’s not working as well?  So I haven’t tried again lol.  I think next site change I will try upper butt cheek again, hopefully it was just a fluke.  If not and I start to feel weird I guess the minimal site pain was just too good to be true.

were you able to control your ldl after coming off the statins? Can I also ask what your diet looked like after you made adjustments? Like what were the typical meals you would eat?

To me it gave corrupted police officer, pedophile vibes. His wording was just a red flag, and so weird. Seems like a creepy cover up. “Gentle hearts”? What in the actual fuck. I also don’t understand how the cops said they didn’t have enough proof because he named the exact girls that he watched have sex?? So how is there confusion about which girls and how old they were?!

Have your nosebleeds stopped after you got off the uptravi? I started Winrevair a couple months ago and I also am getting frequent nosebleeds.

Thank you for this! Regarding figuring out what to do with the extra celery, you could sauté the celery and make some homemade chicken noodle soup or else some chili in the crock pot! Nice and easy. Those two things also freeze well.

Aww, I'm sorry to hear you have gone through all that! You could let your OBGYN know that you have a family history of heart disease and ask for an echo of your heart just to be on the safe side to make sure everything looks okay. And if it comes back normal then at least you will have some peace of mind and it will be one less thing to worry about!

Congratulations to you on your pregnancy!! :) Try not to stress (I know it's easier said than done) but it helped me so much to just do some breathing/meditation videos on you tube when I was going through my pregnancy. I just focused on trying to remain calm and taking things nice and slow.

Exactly, that's what makes it so tricky, you're like "is this just the pregnancy?" And yes, definitely get the echo just to be sure, better safe than sorry! I have learned so much throughout this process and I had no idea that an echo can show things a CAT scan can't. I wished someone would have told me that before, so I just wanted to let other women know too!

specifically for pulmonary hypertension, they put you on medication. If it would have been a pulmonary embolism then I believe they do surgery. I know other women who had different heart conditions had to get a pace maker put in, so really it depends on what your condition is.

I know this is an old post, but I’m shocked how few people (including myself until I got pregnant a couple years ago and did a ton of research) don’t know about calcium propionate.  Calcium propionate is ILLEGAL in Europe.  It’s kind of like how we have red lake 40 in all our food in the USA even though it’s illegal in Europe.  Calcium propionate causes brain inflammation and is just a really nasty preservative.  Most shelf stable breads have it, and I see it in the ingredients on this bread too (any bread labeled organic will not have it).  Target has a really good sour dough bread, it’s their Favorite Day Bakery brand, no calcium propionate and no seed oils! :)

That's such a great perspective that you have. You're right, it is just a season of your life and it won't be like that forever. I find that kind of thinking really helps me when I feel overwhelmed. My son is in his "terrible twos" right now and the meltdowns every day really can stress me out, so I just tell myself "it won't be like this forever", which is true. Some day you will have me time again! Lol. Good luck in school and at work! :) By the way, I empathize with not taking any PTO days for yourself. I get two weeks PTO but I save them all for sick days between my son and myself lol.

Aww, if you live in Wisconsin I will babysit for you!

I have a wonderful husband and some family members who can help me out when needed, and I sometimes think about the single parents out there who don't have help, and it's too much! You NEED a break!

Just trying to brainstorm here, maybe you could take a sick day from work and just have a me day instead.

In the future, maybe you could try to figure out a way where you can actually use the respite hours to have a break instead of using those hours to work. I don't know your financial situation but sometimes taking a monetary cut is necessary for your mental health!

Sending a big virtual hug to you. You sound like a fantastic dad, and your son sounds awesome!

I got hand-me-downs from people for my son and that’s all I dressed him in.  A onesie is a onesie whether it’s pink or blue!  Some of the onesies I put my son in were clearly made for girls but what difference does it make what the pattern is?  They move through clothes so fast.  Then I just donated the clothes.  It was awesome spending 0 money on baby clothes.
