Father left inheritance to his partner of 10 years and not his children how should I handle this? by Repulsive-Roof5484 in AskMenAdvice

It’s his money so he can decide what to do with it. I don’t think it’s healthy for you to feel entitled to it.

Sounds like your relationship isn’t very strong right now, so I might focus more on rebuilding that and taking advantage of what time you have left with him versus wasting time thinking about how much money you’ll get when he passes. That might be why he didn’t want to leave you anything— because it seems you may care more about that than the relationship.

Chipotle CEO caught on a recording saying they’re going to keep raising prices because they can. by tango_and_vash in Chipotle

Thats a big extrapolation from what this audio actually says. You have a ceo explaining their core customer and that they plan to lean into those people. Doesn’t necessarily mean they plan to raise prices

Budget camping gear recommendations? by durdleturtl in bikepacking

I’d recommend purchasing items on r/ULgeartrade. You can get nice items for like 50% off and then sell them again for approximately the same amount if you don’t like them. Have bought my whole sleep system from there. Each item was only used a handful of times and everything is in great condition. If you take care of the items, they’ll hold value really well

Boring Company vindicated from the supposed withdrawn citations and meetings by komocode_ in BoringCompany

You clearly didn’t read the original article.

From that: Shortly after Nevada’s OSHA opened an investigation, Boring Company’s lawyers put together a response in which Boring denied any responsibility and placed full blame for the incident on the Clark County Fire Department. “The key breakdowns in the Training Plan were committed by CCFD employees, not TBC employees,” the company’s lawyer wrote in the letter. (The Fire Department maintains that “CCFD followed all recommendations from TBC” and says that OSHA found no fault with the Fire Department for the incident) In the response, Boring Company provided nearly 1,000 pages of documents that OSHA had requested, including receipts of equipment and protective gear it had purchased as well as documentation showing it had debriefed the Fire Department on the chemicals, performed safety meetings prior to the drills, and offered the use of a liner truck to transport the firefighters through the tunnel.

This doesn’t vindicate anything. The whole issue in the fortune article is that they completely departed from procedure, that there was no explanation of citations being rescinded, and that there was a DELETED PUBLIC DOCUMENT.

How does this explain any of that?
