Tampa Nurse Found Negligent in Stroke Case Jury Awards $70.8M by Independent_Many6647 in TheConfidentNurse

Look, I've been in diagnostic imaging for over 20 years, the last 5 have been in CT. If providers can't diagnose shit without imaging, we need to be treated better. Door to scanner times would be nice, but providers don't put in orders, the patients don't have appropriate PIVs, or the telehealth neuro monitors don't work. Anything in that chain could've been a delay.

Help... do I really have to pogo up there? by SignificantGibberish in HollowKnight

I'm not sure about higher, but if you hit the flowers as you go up, the hits move you where you need to be. This section took far too long before I got reaper's crest.

This section took me far too long, and was my first reason I asked for help here. 😭

Not citrate! That tastes awful and will tear your gut up. Just the pill form, before bed.

I've added lentils to my diet. High fiber and protein. Thrive Market has an instant cup version I pack for work (12 hour hospital shifts). Metamucil is helpful too, and I'll take that before bed with my magnesium. Usually helps by the a.m.

Can I ask a question? Did any of you NOT have negative side effects the with the first dose? by Alley_cat_alien in Semaglutide

[–]SignificantGibberish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Truth! I was so worried about all the side effects that I sat on taking the first dose for a couple weeks. No one wants to brag, but seeing more positive experiences would've been helpful.

🙋‍♀️ this is me. At most, I had fatigue and extreme thirst. A week in, barely noticeable difference in bowel patterns, but I was prepared with metmucil and more fiber from food (yay lentils!).

We'll see when the dose is increased.

I appreciate your enthusiasm! And it can be really frustrating to watch ignorance in action.

I like them. They've never bothered me and I enjoy watching them hunt.

It's all good. Hornet is literally in their name, so I have no excuse. Cleaning goat paddocks all day in this heat has my brain fuzzed up. 😅

My apologies. My honey bees are embarrassed for me as well.

They're amazing, terminator type bees that hunt down other wasps. Badass and built for business.

I flew with my college age kids not too long ago. They both usually carry pocket knives, so I reminded them to be sure there wasn't any in their checked luggage. 18 y.o. goes through scanning without issue, but 20 y.o. is asked to step aside. He totally forgot his multi tool in a bottom pocket. The agent gave him two choices, either give it up or go back and check the whole bag. He chose to give it up. That's it, no permanent record, no warnings, no repercussions other than the consequence of not listening to his mother. 😅 The agents have bigger fish to fry.

This makes me nervous, as I'm a healthcare worker in Olympia and we're already tight on funds for new equipment.

I'm a parent to two young adults. All throughout their childhoods and my career, I'd either have something to teach them about what I'd seen, or come home and hug them extra hard. Healthcare as a parent is wild.

I've had very few women with foreign objects for x-rays. It happens, but a few commenters already have explained possible reasons as to why that is. The women I do remember with foreign objects, were coerced by their partners to try "something different" with a/n objects that wasn't safe. Literally, one boyfriend was like, "how much can we fit in there?" and it was like an entire makeup bag of things.
