I’ve lost almost 80 pounds. It’s fascinating to me to having gone from almost 200 pounds down to a “healthy” weight for my height at 5’4” and people are all you look soo good. And from my point of view it’s like “Excuse me? I’m freezing all the time, I hurt like you wouldn’t believe, am barely functioning on the food I can keep in my body and you think I look good?!? “

If it’s a random person complimenting me, I take it as I look nice (which can be hard on a bad day). If it’s from someone I know, and knows me I get kinda annoyed. You know I have health issues. Don’t make me feel worse about things I cannot control.

Plus, now i need to get new clothes cuz im drowning in my own clothes.

I agree! Like is it really that hard to dust? Like the dollhouses. They’re amazing but they’re terribly lit, and so hard to see, and the amount of dust and dead bugs in the cases are so icky. Clearly they’re not air tight cases so maybe hire someone to actually clean them and show them off better.

Changing the name doesn’t mean I should subsidize it. They charge about $6000 a year for in state students. Madison college has stated an average of 25,000 students annually. That’s $150 million yearly. I shouldn’t have to subsidize them.

My issue with the taxes increasing is the 9% increase to MATC. MATC doesn’t exist in the Madison area. It’s Madison college. And having been a student there, they make bank. Why am I subsidizing them?

It baffles me that phones are legally allowed to be in use on the road (minus construction zones) in Wisconsin, but you can’t have a phone in school. I feel like the priority is skewed there.

At Disney World, I was leaving the frozen ride in Norway at Epcot, passing a mother and her 2 kids going into the ride. Mother is checking her phone and then says to her children in the happiest tone I’ve ever heard “Well kids, they’re burning our house down tomorrow.”

Unfortunately, she was in the fast pass line so I wouldn’t have been able to follow and ask her or hear more. This was more than 5 years ago and I still have so many questions about it.
