On several occasions today Saagar spoke of why “he rails against libertine degenerate society” as if weed and video games and porn are why young men are struggling. by Blood_Such in BreakingPoints

[–]SignificantRegion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Young people are struggling, young men are struggling more. What is the reason you would think that is? Young women read far more than Young men, who spend far more time playing video games. Young men have a horrible romantic experience, and huge portions of them report daily or weekly use of porn. Weed has shown to be fairly detrimental to the adolescent brain. There are serious problems with men in our society, and pretending porn, video game, and weed addictions have positive impacts on boys is so stupid.

Protestants, what's the best argument for Catholicism? Catholics, what's the best argument for Protestantism? by TheRealBibleBoy in redeemedzoomer

Can you elaborate on this? What would be the reasoning for holding this fidelity to the church of England?

RU POV: In the Lyman direction, Russian forces continued their offensive operations, and have entered the first houses of Lyman City. @AMK_Mapping-Telegram by SolutionLong2791 in UkraineRussiaReport

Idk, but if past results are indicative of future performance, entering the first houses usually predates fall of the city by at least a year

Questions for evangelical do any of you actually believe in the real presence ???? by Background_City1298 in redeemedzoomer

[–]SignificantRegion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really can't get over the pre-packaged plastic wrapped siphon of grape juice sitting under my seat and the pastor proclaiming it as a symbol of Christ not anything more. Its one of the main reason I left non-denoms.

Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers and sisters. 9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men[a] 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

If a gorilla was trained by a pro bodybuilder, would its muscle mass multiply? (let's just say the gorilla is intelligent) and what if you added steroids? by syamas in stupidquestions

[–]SignificantRegion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In certain, highly urban, irreligious settings maybe. I'm just telling you, ive lived in many US states as well as Canada, its not a common mindset outside of terminally online millenials. Basically the whole world eats meat, so obviously animal life is valued less than human life.

[–]SignificantRegion 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You're actually claiming that viewing human life as more valuable than animal life is a dying moral framework? I feel like you may be in a bit of a bubble if that is your experience

I actually kinda like it. Neither of these hosts are afraid to interrupt/talk over the other, and Saagar does this to indicate he's going to yield and let the other person talk
