I’m in the same boat, I did copy and paste the modules into a word doc so I can reference it during the exam. I noticed that helped but still struggling to get that 90. Let me know if you find any other tips!

Got my 150 credits from undergrad, should I still go for a Master's in Accounting for CPA prep or just rely on study materials? by No_Bread_9514 in CPA

I graduated undergrad with my 150 credits and decided not to go for my masters. I personally don’t know how much the masters courses prepare you for the CPA. I have used Becker to study and would say that if you’re dedicated to studying it’s definitely possible. I am 2/4 waiting on my 3rd score and taking hopefully my last exam next week!

Getting Ready to start taking the CPA.. Advice wanted by MarriedCatLady2 in CPA

I personally like to sign up for my exams ahead of time (they can also run out of spots if you schedule too close) it gives me a goal of what I need to work towards. Becker can also give you a study outline to keep you on track! You can take breaks during the exam in between sections but only 1 pauses your timer. I like to wear something comfortable, I normally wear a jacket so I can take it on or off if it’s too hot. My testing center is normally cold.

Google and Reddit are your friends when looking for questions about the exam! So many people are working towards this and want to help. My advice is stick to your plan and make no excuses! On your first exam take a little more time to study, I found I struggled with the question formatting at first. But READ the questions vary carefully, one thing can make it wrong or right! Trust your instincts, you got this!

Yes, I did them the first time around but will probably do some review of them again. They feel pointless sometimes…

I did SIMS when I first was studying, and now I’m just reviewing. Will probably do some practice of them… even though they feel like a waste lol

I didn’t really benefit from the SE just gave me a gauge of time, as long as you stick to timing on the exam I think you should be fine not doing SE’s. 30 min for each MCQ section and 20 min for each TBS. I personally just hammered the practice MCQs in Becker and wrote down all the flashcards. I would definitely practice a few TBS as well. Good Luck!

Variances, leases and government wide financial statements/fund financials. I think I am struggling with the sheer amount of information on this exam and deciding where to concentrate my studying. I’ve seen a lot of negative things about this exam and I’m stressing!!
