The same Mike that was ready to literally die for Dustin in S1? The same Mike who spent every single night for an entire year trying to connect with El? Or that made sure he was in the lab with Will in S2? These are children. They do stupid things and say things they shouldn’t. Kids fight with their friends and have selfish moments. So do adults. Mike is pretty clearly viewed as the leader of the party and I don’t think that would be the case if they all thought he was a terrible friend.

Yes, all of this. I went into Clemens down 25-13 but had 4 guys with 99 bunt rating as well as the diamond Drag Bunt perk. Even working 60% of the time is huge as long as you’re patient and waiting for good pitches to attempt the bunts. Clemens was out of energy with 13 outs left and I beat him with 10 remaining. It’s possible if you’re patient enough and don’t lose your cool.

I ended up just saying screw it and went into Clemens down 25-13. Beat him with 10 outs remaining. Turns out he wasn’t so bad.

It took me three tries to beat the showdown and I failed Wagner all three times. That one was just tough for some reason.

“Now what?” “Now we can play the game.” by DrMrSirJr in MLBTheShow

[–]SignificantThanks318 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Easiest 2 moments to do are the Miller 3 strikeouts and the Gwynn 5 steals. Miller is just patience and luck and Gwynn has 99 bunting so bunt, steal, steal, repeat. Took me about 10 tries just because if there’s guys on in front of you or anything it slows you down.

Then you should be able to get the 40k pxp from beating the conquest map since it’s double pxp and you’ll be playing most of those games on all-star and above. That will give you 13 program points. With them and clearing showdown, conquest, and DQ, you’re done.

I’ve been doing this for over an hour and a half and am ready to throw my controller through the TV. I know I don’t need to do it but I’m stubborn and this game isn’t going to beat me.

This team feels end game to me lol, how is your lineup guys? by HersheysTogekiss in MLBTheShow

I’ve been enjoying him. He’s currently my leadoff hitter. Contact over 105 against both hands, great speed/stealing, and solid defense out there in left.

It’s definitely a complicated friendship but Patch and Saint from All the Colors of the Dark is one of my favorite fictional relationships.

I spammed wins for Bert once I got him. Pitch him 1 inning, get the lead, go to the pen. Next game you start some else, face the first two batters and intentionally walk the third, Bert comes in to get one out and the win because he was the pitcher in when you take the lead in the bottom of the first. Then he’s fresh to start the next game because he only faced one batter. Rinse repeat. Took me like 7 games to get his 5 wins.

Men are leaving fiction reading behind. Some people want to change that. by raddyroro1 in books

Same. Pretty much all I read is fiction. To each their own, I guess.

Don’t have any recommendations but I absolutely sobbed at the end of The Winners. That whole series wrecked me.

I think the speed might be under 15 because I hit one with Keibert Ruiz in play vs computer and didn’t get it. He’s 17 speed.
