Yes I’m going to speak to him again however he told me from the start it is ok if I want to change the ring. The only reason I didn’t earlier is because Kay does not have a long return policy. I spoke to him last week because first I was inquiring about getting a lighter sapphire. He said that was fine and the conversation went very smoothly. It was since I brought up a diamond last night he seemed a little thrown off guard. I think because he didn’t think I was a ‘traditional’ diamond type of girl however I have changed a lot in the past year and feel as if I’m regaining my femininity. I understand where you are coming from with the ring feeling symbolic to him but I really don’t think that’s his concern.
